Great size, nice finish. Saddly this phone has really disappointed me. It came with Android 4.0 but it's as slow as old 2.3 devices. The phone died on me after about 10-11 months of usage. Also don't expect to be able to do modding on it too, it has a locked down bootloader.

This phone is a good mid-range phone, especially for the price.
Do not expect it to be mind blowing or anything, it just does what it has to and does that very well.
Battery Life is decent if used lightly or just texting, but will drain quickly if used for other things.
Overall, a great phone for the price.

Battery power will last all day if used for texting with the odd phone call. Buy when surfing internet, expect to charge afterward. And when gaming, don't even bother trying if your battery is >50%. Use smart actions to disable gps and background actions when phone is not in use. This will help battery life substantially

Its funny that nobody likes this phone... It isn't the greatest phone out there, I've experienced a few glitches with it, and reception isn't great. But overall, i love the styling, the home screen setup is perfect, and smart actions are amazing! Its a metal phone, kevlar backing (which is grippy, tough, and looks classy) and it has gorilla glass. This is a good phone design, good processor, good motorola layout...but a bit glitchy (freezes once per week, some icons relocate automatically, and sometimes text will duplicate itself...) But even with a few quality control issues (what phone doesn't) I'd rate it a 7/10. Its better than my wires galaxy note, and less than half the price!!

Thank you very much for the thorough information, I greatly appreciate it. As long as calling and SMS works I'm fine. I don't even have a data plan lol. (Saves a lot of money) But I guess I'll just save the APN's for future reference. Again thanks for the help.

I have done flashing with my razr V and some of my other cell phone, they all work fine as long as you stick to your original carrier. I sim unlocked my Razr V because I bought it from Virgin mobile and I subsequently switch to Rogers, so I need to unlock it. But, you will lose your APN for data access after updating to the Australian Rom, you will need to manually enter those settings . Once you ahve entered and saved it once, you are good to go for yoru mobile data. So make sure you take a snap shot of your APN page or copy those parameters down before you do your upgrade, otherwise, you cannot have your 3G/4G data access fromn your service provider.(Virgin Mobile). Hope this help.

If I want to flash the Australian Rom do I have to SIM Unlock the Phone first? I believe mine is locked to the Virgin Mobile (Bell?) Network in Canada.

My XT755 is supposed to have 4Gb of internal storage. I have used 1.05 Gb for apps, 1.71 Mb for Pictures & videos, 1.04Mb for Downloads but it tells me I only have 205Mb available and that storage is low. I have an external 12 Gb SD card. Why is this so. Is there any way of accessing the extra 2Gb+ that should be available or is Motorola fibbing/misleading when it says it has 4Gb available on the phone?
