I can't wait to get my hands on one of these. It looks incredible. Stylish, functional and 'solid'.
As for the brand war of previous post to this section.
IMHO, MOTOROLA are less reliable. I'm the only person I know who hasn't had to return a Motorola brand phone at least once. I've had the E398, V360 (loved that phone) and V3i (looks great but too wide for a flip - when you have dainty hands that is). But their Camera's are far superior to the ones Nokia put in their phones. The sound quality is miles better than Nokia, and they put a couple of actual 'ring tones' in amongst their pithy musical tones.
Dear old Nokia have woeful ring tones (I find myself in some very noisy environments in the couse of the day and need a good solid ring tone, something that can't be confused by music in supermarkets and stores or other phones ringing). Motorola also has easily attached peripherals (miniUSB) for when you're on the fly. Nokia's 2 pin jobbies are very difficult when you're driving at 100k+ and trying to get the headset connected so you can take a handsfree call or listen to the radio. I would prefer if they allowed speakerphone without the insertion of a headset first.
What Nokia does have that's superior tho is the menu. You can select, delete (or whatever) and confirm with the one button (without looking) unlike most other phone menu's, Motorola included, that makes you switch buttons for different functions. I've got a Nokia 6111 I love, but between inferior sound and camera quality and crappy ring tone I rarely use it, instead favouring my V3i.
I could go on, but I think I've covered my main gripes and bouquets.

ok im like totally confused. is this phone like a slider AND a flip phone? i totally looks like it!!! and does ANYONE know when its coming out? because i really want the z3 but if this is slider and flip i might wait to get this one! PLEASE answer my questions!! SOMEONE! email me and let me kno plz!!!

I think that motorola are the best manufactures out there they have the most output of phones, unlike nokia or like lg. they have the easiest to use bluetooth and also they have the best fashion phones too.

Have you already compare face to face between "Motorola E680g" with "Sony Ericsson W950" with same songs and with same bitrate? My friend expert for "Audio Quality", He already compare face to face between "Motorola E680g" with "Sony Ericsson W950" with same songs and with same bitrate. The results is "Motorola E680g" is the winner because has "best audio quality" than "Sony Ericsson W950". "Sony Ericsson W950" not has good "audio quality". like you said.

i see that you are really a motorola fan and somewhere biased to them and i saw you having the similar attitude with Tarantula. one more thing, motorola smartphones never freezes not because they have better os and engineering of the units they make, but the users didn't install so much applications as the nokia users do. sometimes people don't even know that the phone they are using is a smartphone open for 3rd party apps. and if you bet on linux phone better than symbian and windows then where can do the people find the applications for that OS as the way people finds it in nokias and SEs?

-E680 better? no more comments but the n91 and W950 are the hottest and the best music solutions and even rokr e2 can't make the way they made it to the market.

WoW. I really like this phone, even if it is just for the pure look and style of the thing. I really don't care if this has qwerks and a couple of bugs when it is released, after all nearly every phone does.

The pure style with the "bend to the shape of your face" feature is really nice and again shows Motorola being the first to bring something new to the industry yet again with innovative styles.

Money buy quality. LG? Hahaha... LG more slowdown than Motorola. Nokia Innovate? Tell me what "Nokia Innovate"? "Nokia N76" copy from "Motorola V3 Razr"; "Nokia 6300" copy from "Motorola L Series"; "A2DP Bluetooth" is the Motorola first and then Nokia. "WLAN" and "WiFi" is the Motorola first since 2004 "Motorola MPX" and then Nokia.

"Motorola" has more experience in "A2DP Bluetooth Technology" than Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG. "Sound Quality" is great than Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG. This is maybe 4th "Motorola Mobile" use OS "Symbian". "Motorola M1000" use OS "Symbian" too but never freeze like "Nokia Symbian Phone".

sorry but you are only comparing the speakers of the two phones. 3D sorround is not that good if we talk about the loudspeaker. and i have seen,tested and used so many stereo sorround phones even the S853 from alcatel. from my point of view the sound from the speaker isn't so much to be bragged. all you can hear is the loudness and the treble but the bass is really poor. that's the issue with all the loudspeakers in any phones of any brand. never mind the single speaker of the W950, though if you look very well it has native accessories and onw of which is the MPS-60 portable speaker in which produces better bassy sounds and with elements better heard than any other loudspeakers out there because the speaker dimensions is actually larger than the embeeded loudspeaker on any phones. and if the megabass eq. is activated then you can really hear the bass better. now back to the point the megabass eq. is only better if the earphones and the portable speaker accessories are plugged in.

so the E680 is better for being louder. though if you really know stereo sorround sounding you can poorly do that with mobile phones even they have the features like stereo widening, 3d sorround and etc. and even they have 3 speakers or mini subwoofers simply because the sorround sound gives better sounds when the two speakers are in distance farther than the distance of 2 speakers in any regular phone(which is very near). so the only advantage of 3D sorround sound in a phone is to make louder sounds but not enhance it. IMHO sony knows that so we can bearly see stereo walkmans from them but only W550. simply becasue Sony has a logic in sound trends as one of their expertise was the sound rendering. i have also heard e398 and N73's sound renderng in speakers also but i can really see the advantage of having more than 1 loudspeakers but only to louden then sound.

i see W950 better than N91 because it's not the sound quality that makes a music phone better. but what is important is that it has number of music functions and accessories to enhance it better. that how W950 can beat N91 and maybe E680.

Finally i find the answer from "Audio Quality Expert". "Sony Ericsson W950" (Mega Bass) compare "Motorola E680i" (3D Surround) and the winner is "Motorola E680i" because has clear audio quality, clear bass quality and firmware is stable.

Amen! You got it right motorola innovates, the other brands copy, specially those brands like samsung with the ultra edition, they are slim i know is impressive, but who started with the slim factor fever, moto, moto, ja ja, no words motorola is great. Even being a huge moto fan, I recognize that at least Nokia, and SE,they kept their form factor of candy bar, specially Nokia they are original they don´t need to copy any one else, even when I hate those candy bar phones from Nokia, but at least they are going in a different way than motorola no like Samsung, LG, well the list goes on and on. i recognize that. one should be honest and I don´t have anything against Nokia or S.E, the other brands shame on you!

MOTo rocks, the design is great, their phones look fantastic, and some of them are equiped with great features some of them are not good, motorola got it all, and I always say the design and materials used by motorola are the best I got a Krzr k1, a v3i, Rizr Z3, and I will get these one, moto the king, sorry for the others guys, but i know Nokia, Sony ericsson are great too, but their desig is not good, they always look cheap even when they are not because I know that they have grat phones too, but the design counts a lot, so sorry!

I'm a complete NOOB but -Looks nice. Not too crazy abou the color scheme, but black/neon green sort of works. A little concerned with the bend/joint/break thingee. Probably makes it more ergonomic, but worried about durability. If GSM Arena could post more pics of it closed, that would be great. I hope it never comes out in pink. :)

Yup... "Motorola F3 / F3C" is not the real "Motorola Scapel". But... "Motorola F3 / F3C" use "Motorola Scapel Platform" like "Motorola Q q9". I know "Motorola LAZR / RAZR 2", until now we don't know that's "Motorola Scapel" or not because "Motorola" doesn't confirm yet.
