i forgot to say earlier that i have a question for anyone to answer. I want to know if the keys on the FRONT of the Z3,Z6 and Z8 are heat sensitive? for example the bottons on the FRONT of the LG Chocolate are heat sensitive

i just want to say that i think that the z6 is the best out of the:Z3,Z6 and Z8 because i compared the Z3,Z6 and Z8 side by side and i noticed that the Z6 has the longest battery-life over all and the Z6 looks better than the Z8 and the Z3 in my point-of-view. I just dont like the little bend that starts at about the middle of the Z8 and the key boards on the Z3 and the Z8 are too original compared to the Z6's keyboard. The Z6's numbers on the keyboard are zig-zagged while the numbers on th Z3 and Z8 are just side-by-side. I think the the Z6 is just overall better and more unique.

That's fact will answer Nokia (Nokia N76 and more), Samsung (Samsung X820, and more), Sony Ericsson (SE W880 and more), LG (Too much copy), and VK (exactly copy cat) copy from "Motorola Slim Concept".

This one of much fact about "Samsung Ultra Thin Edition" copy from "Motorola Thin Concept". This is one of much "Samsung Ultra Thin Edition" for sample "Samsung X820":
===============================================
Review of GSM-handset Samsung X820
lim phone fashion was started by Motorola, RAZR’s design was copied numerous times and some of those products were from Samsung as well. It’s hard to create something unique and not similar to other products when you have an example of successful product in front of you. It’s like in case with a child, when you tell him not to do something, he does that on purpose.
Initially “slim” line from Samsung was not unique in terms of design, there wasn’t any success in making thinnest phone possible either, this was a symmetric answer to RAZR’s success. Such answers were made by all other companies except for Nokia. But Samsung decided to go even further by selecting slim products as one of main ways of developing in 2006, it also managed to create several products before Motorola did. A sort of hide and seek game between manufacturers. Someone in Motorola could not control his flow and said that Motorola is planning to release a 5-6mm thick phone, which means that BLADE family is not that thin. This idea has been caught by journalists and successfully disproved by Motorola’s representatives. However at same time CeBIT’s booth had decoration elements that contained information about future product, there was a surgeon, who has been saying something about scalpel, and corresponding abbreviator been placed. Such contradicting information was caused by fact that company realized the need not to announce its products before their commercial launch, or prior release date. Design copying problem became very actual for Motorola, since no one is using same materials, everyone creates simplified copies, that require less developing time. But if we talk about slim series, all information was available at market in 2005, and Samsung began building its plans.
Fight for “slimmest” phone on the market started in two directions at once: one was hinted by Motorola – usage of metallic case, which allows keeping case proof; second – attempt to use traditional materials in order to achieve case’s slimness. As a result of first direction we had Samsung P300 – a small handset that reminds of calculator, similar in size with a credit card, but pretty thick. Model was interesting due to several solutions including external battery built into phone’s leather case.
Sticking point for Samsung with usage of metallic parts was lack of experience of creating such products. A lot of processes have to be carried together, antennas should be placed correctly, so that network reception would be good, and so on. It was hard to do in a small product that was supposed to become mass solution, all these operations were hard to perform. This is why Samsung P300’s format became independent, there will be 2-3 models released in nearest future, they will be different in terms of functionality (better camera, updated interface, memory card), but there will be no further miniaturization of these models. These models are grouped by “Card” tag, this leads to their similarity with creadit card. Such phones became a tradition of production for NEC.
Metallic case points on fashion segment, sort of exclusiveness from Samsung, which was proven by Samsung’s P300 sales. This is not a mass model, but it has pretty good demand for its price, due to design uniqueness, it attracts consumer’s attention.
Second direction of evolution was usage of traditional plastic, which was considered impossible for slim handsets. The only natural limitation is plastic itself, its proof, the thinner it is, the lesser its bend proof, steadiness against deformations and mechanic damages. Taking the fact that there had to be a handset chip, display besides plastic in the case, such mission seemed unreal. However in Samsung it was considered possible for them, and so two projects were set up for development – Illusion and Spear. Difference between these two products is in 2 mm thickness, plus second product is an UMTS phone and will be released on the market only in autumn. Meanwhile Illusion model was named Samsung X820. Company had started giving code names at Russian market in 2006 for commercial products, for example you can see Samsung E900 posters with Phantom codename on Tverskaya street in Moscow, as well as P300 with Platinum. As for X820, code name and internal name collide, model will be called Illusion. Company is not using code names for any other country in the world. As for Russia, will of using such code names was motivated only by aggressive promotion of such solutions by Motorola (RAZR, SLVR), it seems that Samsung sees a strong competitor in Motorola.
During development process R&D center of Samsung encountered numerous problems, including the above mentioned fragility when small thickness is used. Solution was simple and elegant: plastic was reinforced with glass fiber, which allowed getting 0.7mm thickness of battery section cover. This means that thickness of plastic is not more than 1mm, it’s even less. Each user of Samsung X820 can easily see how easily battery section cover can be bend into every direction when held in one’s hands.
Engineers of several companies did not believe into possibility of creating such phone from plastic, but once they saw Samsung X820 sample, they had great respect for the work done in R&D center of company. Samsung came a long way to create such plastic. In case someone is not considering this being worth attention, than this person is not understanding deepness of goals that manufacturer had to face.
Plastic thickness is not the only way to make case thinner, we can also mention element placement on handset chip, their protection. Display is traditionally most unprotected place in the handset, that’s why we can see protective edging made of metal, improved by plastic covers and solutions of same kind. In case with this model, manufacturer decided to limit protection by installing protective glass made of hard plastic and strengthening frame....

From looking at past history, Samsung COPIES THE MOST and from everone! One example is their P3xx "credit card" series which is a shameless ripoff of the NEC N900 which came out in 2004!!
Then there is the Samsung Z5xx series which is a shameless ripoff of the Motorola V3!!
Then there is the Samsung A790 which looks like a rip of the NEC N910!
=============================================
I agree. "Samsung X820" is a shameless ripoff of the "Motorola L6". Samsung copy "Slim Mobie Concept" from "Motorola", this is fact.
From first time "Samsung Mobile" in the market; we know "Samsung" created "Slider Phone and Thick". Never produce "Thin Slider" , "Thin Candybar", "Thin Flip" until "Motorola" created "Thin Flip" and "Thin Candybar". This Fact!!!

We haven't know yet the winner of comparison with "SE W950" with "Motorola Music Phone".
For "Sound Quality", "Nokia N91" is the winner. Read this :
===============================================
Sound quality
Another very subjective parameter, so the presence of a focus-group was very essential here. Personally, I find the sonic experience I get with the N91 far ahead of that of the W950i in just about every way – from volume to reproduction of high and low frequencies, solid basses and so on. On the other hand, the soft sounding of the W950i will perfectly fit some genres (classical music, for example). We tested the sound quality in the following way: offered the member of the focus group to listen to a handful of tracks (electronic, jazz, rock, pop) in identical headphones, Sony MDR-EX71, with the device hidden in a drawer.
Before revealing the outcome of the test, we are ought to mention some delicate aspects. Nokia N91 can deal with these formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, Real, WAV, WMA, M4A, AMR-WB, True Tones, AMR-NB. While SE W950i supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, WAV, m4a. As you see the number of formats available with the W950i is smaller, yet in real-world situations it is not vital, for many users prefer keeping their music in MP3 or WMA (and sometimes WAV).
A few words about the sound settings in these two handsets. In Nokia N91 the user can take advantage of the equalizer coming included with six presets (Acoustic, Bass Booster, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock) and default mode, also nothing prevents you from playing around with the equalizer to make up your own mode. The focus-group members noted that the equalizers don’t have any significant impact upon the sounding, thus the default settings are still the best choice. But in return the Stereo Widening, as well as the Loudness effect bring something new to the way the N91 sounds, however to me it’s more of a psychological factor, since I doubt they would have noticed it if I hadn’t said them about it. Balance adjustment was not appreciated by the focus-group member, or, better to day, they rated it as a useless feature.
The W950i works pretty much in the same manner: ten presets (including Mega Bass) and the default mode, the user is cut off manual equalizer management, but this isn’t something most would crave for. The members of the focus group appreciated the “Loudness” equalizer – as they say, it is the only way to go, since other settings aren’t that interesting. For example Mega Bass improves the basses, but at full blast the player can’t cope with such powerful basses and starts creaking etc. A remarkable aspect: the items stored in the N91 outside the equalizer menu (stereo widening, and Loudness) could have been moved to the same place where Sony Ericsson W950i has them. Really, the W950i doesn’t sport stand-alone menu items such as “Loudness” or “Mega Bass”
In the sense of subtle settings these models are evenly matched – the available sound settings will never leave you bored with default sounding, at that either of the handsets can brag about some exclusive add-ons to the traditional equalizers. The same goes for the supported formats – you will have everything you need with either of the phones (though I would really love .ogg support), including any-bitrate-enabled mp3’s
So, who came out on top in our test?
Make a note that the tests were carried out at full volume for the W950i and at 80-85% for the N91, otherwise facing these two handsets off would have been really hard. From my perspective, in terms of their music departments the two phones are like apples and oranges with Nokia N91 coming out on top in just about every way. And it is more likely that for now this handset in second to none on the market.
So, a “+” to Nokia N91 and a “-“ to SE W950i.
=============================================
I don't know "SE W950" has 1 or 2 built in speaker. "SE W950" has "Mega Bass". "Motorola E680i" has "3D Surround" and 2 speakers. Is anyone know about speakers? Which one the best? "Mega Bass" or "3D Surround"?

sorry PDlx but the phone involved in the comparison test was the W800,W900,W810 only. the two SE's best music solutions W950 and W850 were'nt involved there and even ROKR E6 so you can't be sure that motorola is be the winner. even N91 beats W950s soundwise. but i am not a nokia fan. i am after the UIQ platform which this one uses. in which i believe have more capability than S60 in nokia. and also if you do read the review comparison between N91 and W950 all in all W950 wins. if someone got bored of the weak speaker sound the walkman renders then they an always dress it up with 3 portable speaker sets from SE. i don't know if motorola have that accessory. neither the biggest nokia is handsdown outperformed by the hardware features of SE plus it's native accessories. and let me tell you that speakers produced by any phone models's loudspeaker isn't worth mentioning if you really want very good sound quality. usually those lack good bass and treble as because it is relatively small as compared to portable speakers. peace man

Each series has category. You must compare with same category. "Music Phone" with "Music Phone". "Camera Phone" with "Camera Phone". And...
If you want compare between music phone without headset. I just can smile and laugh because 100% "Sony Ericsson Walkman" can't win. Compare between "Motorola Rokr Series" or "Motorola Music Phone" with "Sony Ericsson Walkman". Read this result of "Music handsets comparison – which one to choose?" (http://www.mobile-review.com/review/music-phones-en.shtml)
In review is comparison between Motorola ROKR E2, Nokia 3250, Sony Ericsson W800i, Sony Ericsson W810i, Sony Ericsson W900i, Sony Ericsson W300i. The result is "Motorola Rokr E2" is the winner. This is some statement:
=============================================
The fact that ROKR E2 is the leader is not so suprirising, the phone turned out very successful in all directions (other functions are great as well). But manufacturer is not in a rush to release this model as quickly as possible, it will hit the shelves only in Autumn. At that moment the positions can change, but I still think that the model will remain impressive, it’s jus the competition between already available music phones that will grow, and it is very interesting to say the least (remember that the design will not suit everyone, it’s a mobile phone for young people). Sony Ericsson’s products W800i and W810i are rather interesting as well.As for W900i, this model does not look so appealing when compared to the competitiros, it has low price/quality ratio. The situation is same for Nokia 3250, there is almost 2x gap between the leader and this model. We can always say “hey, it’s a smartphone, it means…” and what just this means exactly? We were comparing only “musical” part of the handset, and this part has been inferior when compared to others. This is why it takes last place in our rankings, this position is well-deserved.
=============================================
"Sony Ericsson Walkman" too poor speakers sound if you compare with "Motorola Music Phone" like "Motorola E680i" (3D Stereo Speakers Sound, has 2 speakers, the music out to speakers to be "3D Surround Sound"); "Motorola E398".
"Motorola MS550" is "Camera Phone" who has "Auto Focus" and "3.2 Mega Pixel Camera". That's phone available in the second half of 2005. I think before "Sony Ericsson" make "Auto Focus Camera".
Hahaha... Hahaha... You blind about "Motorola", my friend.

to motorola people can u please upgrade the features of the motorazr maxx v6 model, maybe you can call it MOTORAZR MAXX V8 or something, overall i love the slim design of the phone but it lacks some features maybe you can add autofocus and digital zoom on camera, maybe the quality sound like that of the sony ericsson walkman phones and if possible a speaker phone that we can hear the music without the headset, a WLAN, a documeng viewer (word,excel etc) and maybe you can adjust the screen to a much larger viewing screen inside and out, if you can build one of these RIRZ Z8 will be obsolete in a month... well just a suggestion maybe you can build this by year 2020 hahaha!!!

Guys please stop this nonsense argument!
it is nonsense that both motorola and samsung fanatics/suipporters are arguing with that simple copycating design. both companies do good in mobiles and this razr is unique in it's way too. same with samsung that's why one of them have become the best mobile handset of the year. i can't see any point to argue the design copying as every companies have both similarities and differences in looks outside and inside. i don't think there's a law regarding the design concept copying else there's no giants like Nokia, SE, Motorola, and Samsung at all because their concept is actually copied from the small brands which were not even exposed widely to the public. why can't you appreciate that a company is not only copying the design but rather also putting more functions so that they won't be called copycats. samsung copycated the slim soncept from Razr but they have come up to beat the slimness of the razr, nokia copied razr also but they put symbian, SE also copied maybe Slvr in their W880 but the UI, Platform and music features are better. so the motorola also attempted to counter all of them by introducing Rizr Z8 with symbian and in slim unique slider form. all companies have their own strength in design, features, function and communication, why won't we distribute this strength for the benefit of the consumers?

Motorola Earns Top Ranking for Customer Satisfaction
VDC Recognition Marks Motorola’s Fourth Accolade Since Award’s Inception
TEMPE, Ariz. – 19 March 2007 – Venture Development Corporation (VDC) has recognized Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) as a Platinum Embedded Board Vendor, the highest level category that VDC presents for demonstrating excellence in customer satisfaction. The 2006 ranking marks the fourth time that Motorola has earned top honors in this category.
“This achievement highlights Motorola’s customer-centric focus and rich heritage in the embedded board industry,” said Paul Zorfass, director of the Embedded Hardware and Systems practice at VDC. “In addition to this recent honor, Motorola also has consistently received the Platinum Vendor Award from award inception in 2002.”
Conducted as part of VDC’s annual Global Market Analysis of Merchant, Computer Boards for Embedded/Real-time Applications research report, data for the ranking was gathered through an online survey of embedded board users. Users identified their most important non-product criteria in evaluating a vendor including elements such as availability/delivery, price, reliable/long product life, experience/relationship with vendor, cutting edge technology, technical support, and a variety of other service and support factors.
User rankings revealed Motorola as one of the top five percent of companies for the Platinum Vendor Award, and also recognized the next 10 percent with the Gold Vendor Award. Both the Platinum and Gold ratings were generated entirely by user feedback entered into an impartial model created by VDC.
“Motorola is very proud to be recognized by our customers with VDC’s Platinum status for the fourth year, as this recognition validates our long-term commitment to deliver unparalleled products and customer service,” said Jorge Magalhaes, director of marketing, Embedded Communications Computing, Motorola, Inc. “Our ability to offer one of the industry’s broadest product portfolios spanning AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, AdvancedMC, CompactPCI and VMEbus technologies as well as comprehensive software and services offerings is once again being recognized for making a significant contribution to the embedded industry. Motorola will continue to lead in the embedded arena by offering a combination of next-generation blades, modules, shelves, application-ready platforms and communications servers to address the industry’s ever-changing communications needs.”

Before Nokia make mobile with "Digital Camera 3.2 Mega Pixel". Motorola already make it, Motorola MS550 since around nearly 2 year ago (Read here => http://www.kioshp.com/viewthread.php?tid=1131). If Motorola want, Motorola can make how mega pixel camera people want. Motorola looking to "Customer Satisfaction" with cheap price. Look Motorola mobile price.
Good features not so important. Look "Motorola V3 Razr" who has basic featerus than other brands but "Motorola V3 Razr" has successor and to be legend because "Motorola V3 Razr" already sold more than 50 million units for 2 years. Best mobile doesn't mean success for sold and make "Customer Satisfaction".
People know which brands copy cat from Motorola. When first time "Samsung Ultra Thin Flip Mobile" in market; people will said "that's copy cat from "Motorola V3 Razr"". When first time "Samsung Ultra Thin Candybar Mobile" in market; people will said "that's copy cat from "Motorola L Series"".
Is public secret in "Motorola Fan's" already know "LG Chocolate" already raped from "Motorola Touch Pad Concept". Look this other concept from Motorola; which LG copy cat: "Motorola MS 400" in the market since January, 2005 (Source: http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details.jsp?globalObjectId=104) and this is copy cat "LG M6100" announced January, 2006 (Source: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_m6100-1413.php). Copy cat doesn't mean copy 100% same; we talk the concept.
Motorola can't sue because many brands smart to copy cat. Example: Mini iPOD from Apple sue similar Mini iPOD from other brand but the result "Apple" can't win the sue because different in place sticker brand, and has LCD. For other people will said that's brand copy cat from "Mini iPOD" (Apple).
