Broke a few days after a month of buying, out powered, small screened phone. SLOW!!! and the camera is 0.3 MP, I love my new Nokia N73 with a 3.2MP camera

my e1 was badly entered in water 2 times
and it still works very properly

I have had my ROKR E1 for 13 months. I too have had problems where it just freezes and you can not type any letters in texts or add contacts. I first had this problem after having it for about six weeks. I sent it off to get repaired and they replaced the screen and keypad. It worked for another two months then I had the same problem again. I needed the phone for calls so never got round to having it repaired again. My husband also got a ROKR E1 at the same time as me and hardly used his phone so recently gave it to me so I can text. I have been using it for three weeks now and last night it broke on me - Same problem as other phone. I am not happy as the warranty has ran out but will phone Motorola today to see what they say. I can't afford to keep buying and replacing phones.

the sound is awesome.. it can almost fill up a room with sound.. i've had it for a year now.. and I still love it.. jaja =]

i use these phone but iwas confuse that what is itunes software itr is goog dmobile but the problem is that kay camera of these mobile is not good compare to v3

ROKR has the best sound qaulity u can find any phone ! walkman phones sound quality sucks in compare with ROKR E1

if you have problem with menus or keys u should flash ur phone with appropriate MP.

I have had my phone for 8 months and twice all of the buttons except for the hang up/ power button has stopped working. The first time they said that it was because of water damage. I was confused because I had never gotten any liquid on it. 3 months later I have the same problem and before I take it in I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem with the motorola ROKR E1... if you have let me know please. I don't want to pay $200 all over again to get it fixed. This has happened twice in way less than a year all new buyers beware.

Dear all,
anybody can help me...im desperate.
recently my computer doesnt want recognized my phone everytime i plug it with usb cable. it said:
"USB Device Not Recognized One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognized it".
i already tried uninstalled MPT and install again, but the computer not automaticaly install my phone driver like usually? it also not asked me to install pci simple comunication controller like i ever asked before when im installing my MPT, you know with plug and play..
whats the matter with my phone? please, need kind of help. im very desperate now because i cant acces my itunes.

something just happened to my phone and i was wondering if anybody could help as i am not very good at phones. I was playing a song on itunes and then it sort of froze so i turned it off then on again. However when i turned it on again i cannot enter the menu, or enter in numbers. However i can recieve calls and connect it to the computer still. I do not have a pin or anything. I just happened suddenly. I also tried switching sim cards.

U can only only have max 512mb memory card with E1. With Music files (50/100 for itunes & endless under the ringtone section), Pictures files, Videos (Clips are time limited by Motorola for a reason) & your own download of video-no time limit(DVD & VCD too by using a converter to have then in 3gpp format)
Why do u still want to burden your memory card with sms saving if it is that important, lock it up to protect it for reference when u need it.
Just think, if u are have a product to sell will u include everything at one go ? If u will then better don't be in sales.

well the phone has good quality overall but it's missing one thing.u can't store your text messages on your memory card :(

ROKR E1 USERS
I'm from Singapore and I would like to inform Singapore E! user that ver 42R is for Singtel subscribers and 46R for Starhub subsribers.
I'm wondering after reading the earlier post whether if it is correct to say which is latest ver based on just the version number.
Anyway I can speak for other countries but here Motorola Singapore has confirm that to-date there has been no update of the software since launch last year. My one year old E! with ver 42R is still the latest.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. And let us know for those who have the so call latest software what the difference and improvement.

this is the best phone i ever had. i hack my phone and know i can put more than 200 songs on my itunes and the sound is amazing. You can download a lot of skins too. the best phone i ever have and in a good price.
