The external speaker is softer than V3i and L7. Don't make noise on the bus use a earphone. Be considerate to the people around dude.

this seems to be a good value for money phone.its not yet available in india.i want to know about the camera quality.can anyone tell me?i want to buy a phone.which is better W810i,N6233 or MotoE2.please help?

@all user who got this cell.....plzz plzz brothers tell about its external speakers is it loud or just ok..if we compered it with...6233....or....slvr7....or if its quite how quite it is?is it like w800?plzz guide me

no you dont need the original headphones to use the radio. because unlike some of the other phones out there, E2's radio antenna is not on it's headphones. =]

Received this phone a week ago. Solid phone, good looking, lots of features! USB 2.0 (ten times faster transfers than old E1.) Many supported audio formats: MP3, WMA, AAC, Real (W810 can learn a good lesson here.) SUPERB QVGA (320x240) screen! It's just beatiful. Standar 3.5mm heasphone jack is quite convenient, and it uses cheapest memory cards available. Motorola has a winner! This phone will become a Classic.

? to someone who already has the phone:
have you guys tried to listen to the FM radio with some other than the original headphones? I've read somewhere that the radio on Rokr E2 works only with the original earphones, which would not be pleasing. 10x

Could you tell me if this phone can be set to automatically answer with the headphones connected? I.e., ringtone in the headphones then answer itself without you having to touch any buttons at all.

Just bought this phone, very good phone and to answer those common question...
video capture - last as long how much spac u have on ur memory card. box says up to 2 hrs of recording time, never tried it my self but i got to 10 mins on recording.
voice command is great - can open programs with and set profiles with voice command, voice dialing, etc..
mp3 player - i like better cuz ur not restricted to certain types of media like iTunes software on v3i and slvr.
memory card- up to 2gb on SD. can be used for variety of stuff like holding movies mp3s pictures etc..
movie playback- video laggs so sound doesnt sync with video. i copied 3 eps of prison break on there and not enough processing power to sync video with sound.
camera light - no u can't use it as a torch light. its only there at the moment of taking a picture.
web browsing- uses opera web browser which really cool, unlike the wap stuff u get with other phones, this reads out xhtml html etc..
speakers - its only one speaker but quality is great, not as loud as i thought it would be.
its a solid phone, i love it, its a little slow on but hasnt hanged on me yet like others mentioned.

I brought tis phone for a week or two.
1. Hang almost everyday.
2. Bluetooth wasnt as gd as it surpose to be when connection with stereo headset. You have disconnect it in main screen and reconnect bt again when in mp3 player.
3. The processing was very slow also apply to msging. Even when typing in normal speed.
4. It's multi-tasking sometime can't really hold up to more than one applications.
5. Battery life can only last for one and a half day usage.
6. Ringtones was rather soft, same goes to listening to music using speaker. It doesnt has sound bassing E398 and E1 roker.
Only thing i like is the New user program. But still it a Disappointment!!!

friends if we compered the loudness of loud speakers Motorola SLVR L7ss with ROKR E2 which one is the loudest

I work for o2 and I have to say that Motorola have fallen far far behind.On contracts I haven't sold a single motorola for weeks.The 1 competetive phone they have the E2 is nether available nor heared of in the UK. Sad

@ALI in pk rupees it is 16700 from any mobile zone outlet and it is limmited stock which moto usually offers in countries like pakistan if this stock sells quick then availability is possible otherwise no.
just like e1 rokr it was shortly available in pk as it was flop
