dude its not that horrible.. i hav one now.
Bought the unlocked version in HK. Sound is brilliant and the transfer speed is so FAst dude!
Dont believe it, juz try it.
If u havent used that phone, dont complain so much

OK, let me say it again.
I actually have this phone (in Taiwan). After using it for about a month, here's what I have to say...
Good points:
Fantastic display (best I've seen). I've got a hundred or so photos on my phone and when I play back a slide show, they look amazing!
Excellent sound quality (Think MP3 player, not phone)
Good OS with multitasking.
Good file manager and browser.
Great calendar
Surprisingly good battery life.
SD card
Mini USB for charging or connecting to a computer.
Looks great with all the lights on (black version)
System wide audio control keys (pause, next and previous) work in all circumstances.
Good FM tuner with up to 27 stations in three preset folders.
I have the entire bible on my phone (1000+ html files), and I can read it while listening to music. Pretty impressive in my opinion.
Bad points:
Text entry isn't optimal due to:
Small keys
Annoying dictionary that sometimes remembers a word and sometimes doesn't.
Slow text entry and prediction.
For some reason, one of my ripped CDs causes the phone to slow down to an almost lock up. Only one album.

By the way, to the guy or girl who wants my firmware...
I can't access the firmware version and I'm not sure how to do a firmware dump. If someone tells me how, I'll do it.

Motorola doesn't have the proper marketing.I mean wheres moto rokr E2.PEOPLE DONT even know if it is in the market or not.It has been only released in few countries.And why cant they make it a bit rectangular.Most moto's are like eggs..........A question for moto user can it play animation(.gif) like sony ericsson as wallpaper.

People rated it high only when the knew the brand name other wise every where MOTO came ahead of it and few times SE came in front of MOTO. SO plz accept tha fact and don't post nonsense comments.

How ius the sender i don't know (as the name is not given). But thanks U for giving the link. After reading it, the moto Rokr e2 hater will know why i praise E2 (But if they want to accept it). But i can assure it that that review just don't jusity the E2 fully. I m not saying u people to buy it but if u can go to a shop who give phones to c it in real before buy & test it and c why i praise it. its really a fine phone then it actally looks in photo. It's always so disapointing to see people getting so heated about new/old phones. What a waste of time to come to such a great site like GSMarena and ruin helpful forums by talking about why or why not your phone of choice is better. Everyone will undoubtedly have a different preference for what they want in phones, and some will inevitably be more educated on these matters than others, but thats what these forums are for, to ask questions and discuss how great these phones are, not how bad others are. Anyway, I am an avid SE user for their wonderful cameras (k750/w800/w810/w900/k800/etc) and music capability. I love samsungs for their constant shape, size, and form innovation (e900/x820/d900/z710). I have always appreciated and admired nokia's symbian os because it really is amazing. In my opinion, motorola has been somewhat lacking in recent years in the phone market, and I think many will agree. The last moto I owned was the e398, which remains one of the best music phones of all time, and since then, I have not seen anything quite as quality and user friendly...until the ROKR E2. I didn't quite recognize everything that went into this phone until I read this review: http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-e2-1-en.shtml Mobile-review.com is WELL known for its comprehensive phone reviews and forums, so check it out. Read the whole thing if you have time, because it sheds much light on what this phone really has to offer, not just what people in THIS forum think it does. If you disagree, start your own company, produce a few phones, start a forum, and let everyone tear YOUR products apart on it. :-)

The os has been refreshed in many things and its not the pervious linux os that everyone knows. So plz don't pass comments before using the new OS of E2.I m not talikng about old software & Hard ware but E2 has many new thngs, but the menatality of many has that they pass comments on old things they know so plz check e2 then pass comments.

Its funny to say that SE display is better then Sharp's display (E2 has sharp's Display).I m sorry coz i m very new user of phone & haven't seen any colour phone till date. & u r right that JUIX suck. The SE is better coz U can't install a single game in it (i have W550)& other applications. I never said that E2 has better camera. Did I? Anyways Sorry Guys I m just a new phone user.

i tried tis phone tis afternoon
i can say tat it is better than E680 tat im using rite now
1. Screen display better. Although it is smaller than E680, but the display is very "real"!! When i just switch on the phone i thought the display of the phone is fake that like the display phone did!!
2. The sound is better. This is common because E2 use 3.5mm headset, thats cool!
3. The camera is quite ok, although cannot fight with SE, but i think it is enough for those people who want to take picture for fun only
now worth RM1399 in Malaysia
cannot afford by a student like me!!

Wow Very Impressive Phone i am now planning to buy rokr e1... but when i see it here in gsmarena i am so impressed before anything else may i know this price here in our country (philippines) the price of e1 and also e1 astig toh!!!

SE has quietly copy Moto's "circle" design for navigation and incorporate into their latest phone.
Their "joystick" navigation will wore out within 1 year and you have to changed or sent the phone in for repair.
Such bad built-quality is not acceptable to me at all. I'll rather have a VGA camera phone than having phones with many problems.
No bulit quality
