they also sell the silver/white one in china but it does not look good to me so i chose the all black one.
yup, camera is only 1.x megapixel. it looks great on the phone because of the display, but when you transfer the pic to the computer the greatness fades. :-P

i must say that motorola promised to release this ROKR E2 in septebmer in russia and also the official representative at motorola's main office in moscow assured peoples of presence of 2-mpx camera in commercial version of that fabulous phone :O
and what we would get then?.. only stupit one and one/3rd mega-super-pupa pixels?! :`o
well, it's beter then nothing...

Ive been searching for a phone with good music capabilities and so far the rokr E1 is probably the best but this is maybe even better. So when does the rokr E2 release?

People that say this is better than SE Walkman phones are kidding themselves, People buy this model only because they can't afford SE Walkman!

ha! there is a phone setting to change the usb connection from modem to memory card. my bad. still have a lot to learn about the phone :)

1. is moto logo in front blue or silver color (i saw a photo where it was blue (the phone was black) and this just looks like a sht)

there's also a review time option for pictures (none, 2secs, 4secs, 6secs), shutter tone (boing, chimp, click, flix, quack) looks like no way to disable it, default name, storage location, autosave (enable/disable), and autosend.
3. is it slow to navigate threw menus

finally bought the phone here in china, rmb2298 or around usd280. came with wired headset, 128mb sd card, usb cable, but no data cd! my laptop can't recognize it as a mass storage device therefore i'm looking for the driver in the net, damn!
phone software is kinda slow, and branded with china mobile which sucks. i don't see some features that i've read in the review like spatial audio and other equalizer settings (mine only has 5 settings).
display is just gorgeous. audio output is great, comparable to the sony ericsson w550c which i had before. audio thru speakers is ok too.
anyone has questions about the phone just ask away and i'll try my best to answer them.

Yeah, I agree that this phone is better than SE Walkman, just head over to www.mobile-review.com and they did a music phone comparision. In that this one is the top. By the way what is the price, some said 220$ where some said 250$. Can any one tell me the price in china

I expect that as a very advanced modding phone (like E398@ROKR). Compared to the mods of the previous releases (www.e398mod.com) I expect that one a killer, since it will have a very better hardware base :)

this is a great phone.. walkmans suck in comparison to this.. their sound just isnt good.. this on the other hand has waay good sound, i heard it from a friend who brought it down from china..

This is a pretty good phone,good features and all.But if moto doesn't release this phone soon and cancel e2 and e3 moto will only be known for making low end phones.

What's so great about iTunes? Any properly designed interface is as good as iTunes.
In fact iTunes has got its disadvantages becasue it cannot create playlist on the phone itself. You need to connect the phone to a computer and create the playlist in iTunes Software.
This is a stupid idea for a phone at this moment. Why? Phones has got very limited memory at the moment and the mp3 files can be easily mamaged manually or by the phone software.

Hey, Isn't it time to come out. If it takes more time thanit'll be good only for music, cause it doesn't has a 2mp camera. But can you tell about it's support for itunes, it'll be bad if motorola drop this support
