almost all formats can be played provided it has fast processor & ample RAM for support... I wonder wats the specifications of the hardware ? wat is the CPU speed etc etc any idea ?

yes, it is a almost smart phone. LINUX OS! thats better than the previous OS by motorola.. ( the phones released by motorola in the future will most likely using this new OS.. ) And the music player is incredibly good! Compared to the one, really, i seen this phone

Nice upgrade to LINUX OS thanks atleast now i dont have to get bugged up due to Motorola sw which is quite buggy all the time...
One more thing wat kind of applications can this phone run and is it available widely like s60 Apps n games

of course no song limitations, nice phone, SD card is much betta than the frikin Memory Stick, cheaper and much more common.. 1.3 mega pix is gd enuff for a music phone, y need 2 mega with autofocus? U pay more for that, if u want quality camera, get a camera.. this is gd enuff

No, the E2 does not have I-Tunes and its for the better, i hated I-Tunes. Ick.

The designers of motorola mobiles better realise that people want modern phones they have used another one off there old designs when they bring something out they put VGA cameras on them to see if they sell well before the put a megapixel camera on them so they lose out to the others so motorola change this design or lose out again

Poor battery life, from what? I never had any problems with my w800 when i put the settings to GSM, only my battery lasts much longer (and longer still if i don't use a screen saver) than my colleagues ROKR E1 - and since there are no specs for the battery life yet, we can't compare. So Pro, think before you open your mouth, you 'silly ass'
