I dont believe you can configure it...pretty sure its just set either macro or infinate focus on the phone and thats it.

I dunno how loud the n73 is but the speaker in the e6 is pretty darn loud...the only phones i have to compare with are the razr, slvr, and Sony Ericsson 810i...the E6 is louder than all of them.

i think to dial a number which is not in the contacts its giving u a key board menu on the touch screen so that u can easily choose the numbers u want ...

no man this is a pda ... i havent used the rokr e6 still im going to buy one but im pretty sure its external speaker sound aint a match with the n 73 ... but out of those two phones i will probably choose the e6 cuz n73 not uniq and its gonna be outdated soon when nokia release another two three new products ... i got 5700 xm its much better for me ... i see n73s everywhere i dont like it ... even my lil 15 year old cuzin sis got a n73 ...

I dont know what options there are to editing office documents as i dont use it much but if i really want to edit a document i just save it as a txt file and edit it that way. then go back and change the font to my likeing...dont personally know of any other way but im sure there is a java program you can download although chances are you'll have to pay...if you find a free one please let me know! :)
Handwriting recongnition is like writing on a pda. not quite grafiti but you can only enter one letter at a time per box. Its just another input method instead of the onscreen keypad. i dont find it very usful as it errors now and again and i hate going back to correct but its very usful when entering chinese characters...although you probably wont use that.

ok im considering on buying this phone but
one more question there ain't no option for editing office documents in this phone but just for viewing those ... any idea of an option or a software that can be used to edit office doc's in this phone & what is the hand writing recognition option for ? ...

I'm pretty sure it'll go 5hrs music and 3-4hrs of calling...i havnt tried it myself but i regularly watch 1-2hrs of video and talk for 3-4hrs with no problem...although it wont last a second day of the same activities...so you'll have to recharge but if you just recharge when you sleep it shouldnt be a problem. It hard to gauge how much more juice it has as the battery meter sucks...so you'll just have to use trial and error to learn how long it will last but for sure it can play 5hrs of music with 3hrs talk time...

huh talking 20 min's and music only 2 hours a day ... well what if im listening to music like 5 hours a day and taking calls of 4 hours maybe does that mean the battery wont last at least a day ? ... cuz im using a nokia 5700 xpress music now im listening to music more than 5 hours a day maybe more than that well i use it for calling for about more than one or two hours still it lasts two days ... please help me does that mean this phone aint suitable for me ? ...

I purchased this handset about a month ago
The real player becomes very heavy after loading more songs it cant even refresh its library and simply exits.
Suggest something with which I can solve this problem

My friend Senthil from Trichy has recently purchased this model.He is using this mobile for 4hrs continuously talkin to his girl friend and till date he finds this mobile suitable for such long coversations.
As Senthil is using this mobile we have to really think over to go for this model....??Senthil has really tarnished the features and image of this model.

The battery life is really good. I don't think you can find similar battery life in other smartphones i.e. symbian. With talking(20min), browsing/downloading (30min), listening music (2hrs), it lasts 2 days easy.
Another issue I saw asked: For hiding a folder you need an application. Look in dedicated forums.

I have got one and it is superb........I really like this phone......but can anybody tell me how i can protect the camera lense as it is not covered....is it scratch proof?

hows the battery life of the phone it says 7 hours talk time is it really true .. what if u use it for music purposes how long will the battery last will it last for at least two days ... and does it come with a bluetooth headset or a normal wired headset ... plz help thankyou ...
