it depends on what features youre looking for in a phone. If you want to use it as a mp3 player and/or camera i'd go with the w580 or the w610. The w510 it's smaller, has a higher res screen, and just looks sleeker to me but the w610 has an autofocus camera so again depends what youre looking for.
On the otherhand, if you mainly want to watch video(e6 has a much larger screen), record video(can record 4x the res as the other 2), play gba games(mod needed), chinese character text regonition, and you dont mind taking the time to hunt down the programs and info to mod your phone i think the e6 is much a much better phone.
But if you dont intend to mod your phone i would not go with the e6, its just not that great of a phone out of the box. and the camera is quite laggy.

you can only view pdf and word docs but you can edit excel spreadsheet and txt docs

moto rockr e6 is simpy superb and fantastic phone. simply bindaas phone for this price
only thing, which i didnt like in this phone is, it do not have a camera flash & camera shutter,
motorola company should take care of this and try to comeout phones with camera shutter and flash.
other wise moto rokr E6 is simply bindaas.

guys with all do respect plz tell me is this phone worth to buy cuz it says seven hours of talk time is it really true for a motorola phone ... and hows the touch screen how many days does the battery lasts plz reply plz recommend this phone to me cuz gsm arena havent done any review still for this great phone ... thankyou and hope i will get a reply ...

are the software already loaded in E6 to view pdf files or we have to load them. i want the necessary clarification from motorola officials. waiting their reply.

Does anyone know...how to install the zip files on the phone??? i tried using the mpkg thing from the mod my moto...but it doesnt works...it says..invalid application!!!

I just bought the motorokr e6 it's a great phone, but i cant seem to find out to send multia media text messeges,it always says that it failed, i dont know if it has something to do with settings, can somebody pls help me?

I got this phone 3 months back and was very happy with it till the time I discovered that the data cable I got with the phone was damaged , and my phone couldn't connect to the PC. The service center people kept telling me that its the problem with Vista installed on my laptop (What a crap). Finally I got it replaced and after 2 months the phone stopped charging...some problem with the connector this time!!! The Connaught Place service center really sucks... they disassembled my phone and since then the phone is making some creepy creeks (they didn't fix it back correctly). The Motorola service really sucks.
There are many more drawbacks to it.. The phone cant multi task with third party installed Java..every time it prompts to close the first app. before opening a new one.... the camera is really bad and its really hard to make it work as a web cam..... the themes and skins are not readily available on the internet..... its really hard to find some compatible softwares to mod your phone.... the flat outbound screen gets scratched very easily...... the service center people really don't know about the phone and keep fooling you around all the time......

the phone wasn made to preform as webcam
for skins and themes you just have to know where to sercah (www.modmymoto.com) is one place where you can get mods themes skins files... for almost all motorola phones
and the thing that i love about motorola is that you don't need service center cuz you can fix any problem at home if you just follow the guides or you have a bit of brain and you can do it by yourself cuz motorolas aren't complicated like SE or nokia or any other phone
belive me i had quite few of thos and non was so moddable as motorolas

Im using a 4gig SD not SDHC card with no problems, but for whatever reason it doesnt work in mass storage mode, you need to take out the memory card to add to it. Also make sure to format using the quick format option to get all 4 gigs to work fine.

This phone does not come preinstalled with any kind of online chat/IM messenger so you'll have to download a program yourself but there should be at least a few free versions of such software so it should be possible but out of the box? no it wont allow messeging of that kind

The only thing i can think of is reflashing your phone...i dont believe there is a password breaker for the phone. to reflash it go to motorolafans.com and read the stickies in the E6 General Chat thread. WARNING: if you do decide to flash your phone you will lose ALL data (ie: contacts, sms/mms msgs, ringtones, pictures, etc.)stored on the phone's memory. SD card information will be unaltered so you dont need to take it out prior to flashing. Also be warned that if you mess up the process there is a good chance you'll brick your phone forever.
