Phew- I am glad Moto abandoned another Razr inspired theme. I am glad this phone has not got a whiff of RAZR. Really cool- would not mind having one of them.

The screen is the same size as most phone screens in that class (2 inches). Its just the landscape style vs portrait that is making it look smaller. Watching videos on it should look better (Widescreen)

It would be a new design touch has backfired n Sam and Se too sensative impratical. How can Moto diaviate from its bad reputation of bad cams and sounds under powere processor and above all Os blutooth uncompatible esp with most Nokias and above all made n china sticker.buld n mem flash mem card cap and totally out of market apprehension. Lets see it working and GSM review. hope for some change Moto.

The fact is Motorola has good quality sound than "Sony Ericsson", Motorola has the fastest processor for mobile phone, Motorola has good quality material, Motorola has good quality camera (i already compare between "Motorola Razr 2 V8" with "Sony Ericsson W880"), Motorola has compatible bluetooth, and more.

Nearly all the brand mobile phone has manufacture in China and of course "Made In China".

Love the design and the concept. Its very original. No, its nothing like nokia or sony ericsson. Motorola maybe a lot of things , but its definetly not a copier. I turly believe that motorola has the best design and concept department in today's market.

MOTOROKR E8 - the new music-centered proposal by Motorola. It has a unique touch-sensitive keypad and the so called "Omega wheel", which sounds like a truly great navigational solution. The keypad is quoted to support Haptic feedback, allowing the user to actually feel every keypress. The built-in memory is 2GB and is expandable through a microSD card slot, which supports memory cards of up to 4GB capacity. Among the other more exiting features are the very slim design (standing at 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm with a volume of less than 60cc), FM radio, Bluetooth, USB v2.0 and the 3.5mm audio jack. A two megapixel camera and the 2" 262K color QVGA display are adding to the tally. The bar-shaped device will be quad-band and GPRS and EDGE enabled. MOTOROKR E8 is expected to hit the shelves in November at a projected retail price of 280 Euro.

The top three U.S. wireless service providers said on Friday they would start selling the successor to Motorola’s Razr phone, which includes a 2 Megapixel camera and a music player.

Motorola had unveiled the Razr2, a slimmer version of its once-lauded flagship Razr, in May amid flagging market share due to a lack of advanced phones.

The company has faced criticism for cutting the price of its original Razr phone too quickly and for depending too much on the Razr, which has sold 100 million phones since late 2004, instead of coming up with new product concepts.

Service provider rivals AT&T , Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel announced plans on Friday to start selling the Razr2, which will work on their high-speed wireless networks, in coming weeks.

AT&T and Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon and Vodafone, both said they would start selling the phone in September for $299 to customers who sign a 2 year contract.

Sprint said it would start taking telephone orders for the phone on August 22 and will charge $249 to customers who sign up for a 2 year contract. It plans to start selling the device in its stores on September 4.
