I already own this phone for about 2 weeks, it's incredible, ultralight and what's great is that it's full aluminum, no plastic. What you need to carry always with this phone is an eyeglasses cleaning solution to clean it, cause it's all metal and has the huge screen it's very easy to get dirty with your face when talking.

They have them on display in the orange shop (well the L6 but its basically the same handset just less features). I was surprised how much bigger it was than i had imagined. still felt smooth and big enough to text without fear of fumbling and dropping it!

799 GBP for the phone?? Why would they want to employ Vertu's metal onto the phone if they know the price of the phone will sky rocket? Luckily there are other slim phones out there to give the L7 a run for it's money. One fine example would be the Samsung P300. Just look at it's size and you'll know how 'big' the L7 is. I'll adopt a wait and see at this current moment because of the pricing.

diamond in the meatal...sure. diamond does not get mixed in the metal it may just be used to cut it...remember diamond is the hardest substance known to man, highly unlikely it will fragment into the metal....£799....what a wind up

The below post is a total wind-up. The L7 will be around £170 sim-free, it's already listed on the carphone warehouse database.

No actually it is £799, as soon as i saw that post i rang vodafone UK HQ, they confirmed this. I asked them y so dear? They say, they used exclusive VERTU (yes, Vertu - Those expensive 20 GRAND phones) metal, which is very difficult to come by and manufacture. It is diamond cut metal, meaning, if you look closely, there will be fraigments of diamond in the black metal. The alloy for the keypad, is specialy used for the L7 it is special aircraft spun metal, which is used on the figherplanes.

799 GBP for this phone?, maybe you will find this today on ebay for 799 GBP, because they are samples, but as soon as L7 will out for retail, it will cost between $500-$600 US dollars.

Wow!! 799.99GBP for this phone? Judging from the technology and materials employed into this phone, I think it is simply overpriced. Would the 799.99GBP a typo error from your end? I think this pricing are geared towards a 3G phone rather than a normal phone like this one. Moto would be looking at a flatline sales chart if they price this phone as mentioned.

Are you sure that the 799.00GBP is not for the Motorola V3?, which is being released on November 25th on Vodafone.

why would amazon offer it for 109.99 GBP and then vodafone offer it for 799.99GBP. THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE

Did you get this from the price list or something?
