Perfect phone! But why in the hell are Motorolas new phones coming only with the crappy 648x480 or something camera? I want a Sony Ericsson K750i styled phone from Motorola but the cam sucks.

I've seen the L7 on amazon for £109.99 - but the delivery is 4-6 weeks, has anyone bought it off amazon yet? This phone looks amazing! I want one asap, but dont know if i wanna wait 4-6 weeks. any suggestions? help! :-D

hey this motorola L7 it's available at vodafone portugal (www.vodafone.pt) and it's only 50e + 4000 points.
great deal i guess.
i just have one doubt: is the software branded by vodafone with those ugly red and white icons or it's the original?!
if anyone cans answer this i will thanks a lot.

oh yeah vodafone have it for £160 sim free and carphonewarehouse will be selling it for £169

was in vodafone in london at the weekend!! its being released on the 18th of nov and its called SLVR not L7 or V8

amazon must have listed it before they are supposed to! they've done it before with apple computers. I didnt think it was going to be on orange - o2 & vodaphone i'd heard?! Amazon also have the L6 listed as pay as you go on tmobile. must be out in the uk soon?

If it's a v-whatever, amazon owes a big explanation. I just noticed that the person who said 109 didn't put a £ sign in front of it...may explain why you both aren't finding it.

Denis, don't feel bad about your English! It's quite understandable, which is what counts :)
Anyways, the point about the camera is a good one...it's too bad it's not better. But I wonder if they put the VGA one in to keep it slim or something. I've tried to find out size comparisons of MP vs VGA, but no luck.
Judging by how big the V3x is compared to the V3 and it has a nifty new MP camera, I'd say that maybe the MP cam would've degraded the thinness of it.

I shurley do like this phone, but the camera is quite ruining the overall features of the phone, i hope that at least it's quality is
better than e398's.

my friends got this phone looks great super slim cheap tp and features better then v3 but has the key pad has the v3 and software very nice

Thanks for posting the amazon info, buzz! I just ordered it as well...figured I'd better jump on the bandwagon for that price since it looks quite a bit lower than estimates I'd been hearing :)

This phone is great except for the camera. If you don't mind that it does not have mega-pixel camera, then you will like this phone.

I have just ordered the L7 from the carephone warehouse on Vodafone 125+50 texts. The phone is free. But now, I seem to regret what I have done. I've not seen the fone yet or even touched it and all review seems to point out that it is not as good as the infamous V3. I should get the fone in 2 weeks time and if it is anything like the V3 in design, features and performance I would be happy. If not....only time will tell.
