Just received this today, looks lovely, sits in the hand well, etc. But what on Earth are Motorola doing with the interface? It is AWFUL, like a kid has made it!
You cannot seem to add words to the T9 dictionary, and multiple phone numbers for contacts are stored separately. Is there a software upgrade written by an adult available for this phone?
If not, it goes back today. No use for the real world!

To change the language is quite easy, you go to settings and look for language menu...
You can't have FM radio with the L7.

hey! I really realy looooove my L7 i just had it last week and i'm really enjoying it, transferring pictures and MP3s is very easy, just plug in the cable to ur USB host and then plug it to ur fone and it's just like using a USB flash drive, you just drag and drop or copy paste files and you're ready to go, by the way i read someone's post about the mp3 player, it's with the games and applications...and then i love this fone, it is scratch proof but the keypad is not but i don't care i really really love it, no regrets buying this fone! by the way the perfect fit dimension of a picture for this fone is 225 x 225..it's a perfect fit for a wallpaper.. i resized mine using my nokia pc suite.. ;)

I bought the L7 a week ago. My pack is good, no bugs. I am lucky. My former mobile was a Samsung Z140 (I will never buy a Samsung again) and it was buggy. Had to send it back to update the firmware but nothing to do.
BTW, I bought my L7 in a Vodafone shop. It is customized with the crappy Vodafone interface. The icons are the ones from Vodafone, not the original ones from Motorola...Does anyone know how to get rid of the Vodafone stuff ???

I like L7 to some extent. But I think Motorola should upgrade the VGA 4x zoom camera to 1.3 m/pixel or 2.0 m/pixel to be comparable with Samsung's or Sony Ericsson. Another thing is the plastic layer that covers the vga camera seems to trap some air and made up some air bubble. Very annoying. I wonder if this problem is covered under the warranty.

Unfortunately just had to return my SLVR. Nice phone in most respects BUT if you need Message Receipts this phone does NOT support this feature! (At least neither Vodafone Support nor I could find it)

The biggest mistake of my life was buying L7. Two days after using it, the display showed " NO service"Contacted the vendor who repaired and replaced the transmitter/receiever of the phone. But after two days the same problem appeared. What to do? Cant sell the fone, depreciates in price so much. The fone has still 10 months warranty, but i cant make or receive calls. What to do fellows? Help me in solnving these problems.
