Nice SIze, nice look, pictures taken are better than the v3, i had before.
The iTunes work, once you have installed it properly, just do not use the full memory or the 100 songs cause in my case the display on the screen was messages full.
RIngtones are very clean, pictures are clean, very nice phone.
Downside? the phone could have had a 2 megapixel maybe....and of course more memory will always be good.

Hi herny
When i use to sell unlocked phones and use to set em up with tmobile i had this come up a couple of times.... There really was no explination from tmobile about it only that it wasn't a TMOBILE phone and their voice mail service dint' support it either. I didn't hear this issue come up with any other gsm providers other then TMOBILE...sorry...

Urgent....seems that instead of a voicemail alert i get a text maessage with two symbols.
t mobile said that the L7 is not compatible with their notification system. since t mobile charges for text messaging it seems that i may be getting charged for voicemail notifications now. has anyone heard of such thing and is there a way around it.

hello there, when someone leaves me a voicemail i get a text message with two symbols????? i get no notification of an actual voicemail alert....whats going on???

BTW to the previous comment about not likeing the following:

$150.00 with a 1yr THIS IS CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
outright price (no service) $375 is only $100 more then the razr and for the feature and what it comes with in the box you will surely agree that is worth the hundred bucks price difference.
and keeping the menu the sames keeps it familiar so the learning process is not existant you can jump into the phone and know where everything is, THAT IS PRICESLESS!

I think we are asking too much of a PHONE... for what it is everything works and very well. All the features work with out a hitch i haven't found a bug as of yet and i had it since the phone came out. I had a smartphoen before this one and THAT thing had everything and also EVERYTHING ON IT WORKED HORRIBLY! I mean the phone has alot of highend features... so there is no 1.3mp cam... that's fine 1.3 is still horrible resoluttion again photo and video are left to the real devices if you want it on your phone then is going to be as good as the phone screen since that's what its design for. again you are all asking too much of a phone... everysingle phone that comes out someone always have something to say abotu making it better, well of course that's what drives the economy people you can't give it all... THE PHONE WORKS AND VERY WELL and if it doesn't in your case then you have a bad one, exchange it.
PS. the phone does have an audio recorder.. Start a multimedia messege and insert an AUDIO message record it and BOALA! you just left your self a audio message..... yes is not suppose to have an audio recorder but this is a way around it until sofware 2.0 comes out...
Features like 3.0mp and and video calling on phone will be arriving in the USA when the networks are ready...no point of having phones that you can't use. 3G will be nation wide before the year is over and video calling will be introduce sometime this year...

i absolutely lu the design of the L7, and would have bought it if not 4 these main reasons, which sre unaacceptable to me...
1... vga only camera? at such a high price? samsung phones equiipped with 1 megapixel at that price!!
2...menu...compared to the NOKIA, SE and even samsung, the motorola' menu design and icons are amaturish, looks crude with the big simplistic icon...moto, dont try to cut cots by simply importing old user-interface from older phone models...
3...NO NOTE TAKING CAPABILITY...thats a NO-NO 4 me...even the cheapest nokia phones posss this ability!!

to get the Itunes software go to www.itunes.com and there is a place that says free download and just click on that.

Some people have commented that in some pictures the keypads colour seem different; I believe there have been a slight mixup in Motolora company, where they have thought to bring out SLVR L7 as a better phone with perhaps a different name, with better memory, camera (1.3MP), better battery life.
I'm not generally too fond of Motorolas. SLVR is indeed pleasing to look at, but it's spec, like most of other Mottos fail to impress for its moneys worth. True, you do not expect good features in every phone, but I do not think they even meet the minimum with the price/advaces of phones we're in at our current time.

Yea i know what you mean. In some pictures the keypad looks silver, and in others the keypad looks totaly darker or even black. Is it me or does anyone else notice this

Does the slvr only come in one colour? because on some pics the phone looks grey/silver and others black.Ive tried searching but coudnt find anything.

I have an Apple iMAC computer with built in bluetooth capabilities and I want to transfer all my contacts from the address book to my SLVR phone but can't make connection!
