thanks guys, sorry for the trouble.
more questions. i transfered an image from my pc to the phone with the usb cable. when i tried to open it on the phone it said the image was to large. how can i resize it?????

hey you know there is no limit on how many songs i have 120 songs on my 512 and the phone plays everything maybe u need to delete iTunes the most worthless software in the world

hey jordan, do u need to have the phone plugged into ur comptuer to have the website work? And is it free to upgrade and take off the 100 song restriction?

i got this fone and its brill love it to bits, nice weight and buttons are kwl and the cam isn't bad at all to make this fone even betta i would advise you to buy a memory card from amazon as the fone its self doesn't have that much mem specially if u want to put mp3's on u also need a usb cable or bluetooth adapter so that u can put them on but ova wise its great i would recommend it greatly!!!!!

OK guys I see your problems
Henry-
If your phone says your provider is Cingular but your with T-Mobile it's nothing to worry about because I found out that if your phone does do that it's just because the two companys are helping each other out. Yes you are on Cingulars network when it does it but T-Mobile doens't charge for that.
Second everyone is talking about how to get songs as your ringtones so here you go
How to make a SLVR mp3 ringtone using iTunes:
1. Create a ringtone specific playlist, and drag the songs you want to the list.
2. Go to the playlist, highlight a song, and navigate to "Get Info"
3. Click "Options" adjust start and stop times.
4. Go to iTunes Preferences > Advanced > Importing
Settings- Import Using: mp3 encoder
Setting: Custom (32kbps mono, 22.050 khz, mono, optimized)
5. Playlist > select all > right click convert selection to mp3.
6. Add to your phone via Bluetooth or USB
NOW LAST everyone I know is really mad about the 100 song cap on the SLVR so just go to this link while your cell phone is connected to your computer then WHALA no more 100 song cap

OK now that all that is out of the way can you guys help me? MY problem is it true you just buy the non comittment SLVR L7 from Cingular then send in your reciept and they will send you a code to unlock your phone?
And one more is if you can't do that^ then if I buy the unlocked version of the SLVR L7 is there anyway to download, install ect. iTunes on to the unlocked version?(Because the unlocked version doesn't have iTunes preinstalled in it)

Ok lets see... Going down the line here.... YES according to the Motorola Rep that visited our store he says that the phone will support 1gb memory card. The restrictions are in the itune software itself. The phone will utilize the rest of the momory as storage and mp3 can be played back through the phone's audio player. Also if you own an apple computer you can simply click on the folder that will appear on your desktop and drop your mp3 files under the AUDIO file that will be inside the folder that will appear on your desktop (this only works on a mac) And again HENRY... call tmobile 1-800-937-8997 and ask them cause the phone are suppose to show what PROVIDER you are working off of by displaying it's name on the screen (great example is when att and cingular merged when ever a att customer jumped on a cinuglar tower their phone displayed cingular and when they went off of it it displayed att....) again call tmobile cause even though they say they don't charge roaming i know for a fact that they do depending on what state you are in...hopefully you aren't in NC or SC cause if so you might be paying roaming... 1-800-937-8997

mp3's has to be in the phone internal memory for it to work as ringtone, not from memory card. One way is to crop mp3's into smaller version and use it as ringtone. if your phone comes with a cd call motorola phone tools, u can crop songs and install into the phone memory due to 6MB of internal memory only.
to the rest of you guys/gals, some will get itunes n some will get digital audio player, it depends on which part of the world you are in. Digital audio player works find as a mp3 player but mp3's ringtone will only work if in phone memory, not from micro-sd memory card.

I have just purchase L7 its realy cool man but i Mp3 feature work awsome but i cant make video more then 37 sec for one clip man i cant fint iTunes on the phone or softwere CD, man i cant even connect my Phone with My Pc through datacablethe softwere on the CD is not supported with L7, can any one help me at that metter PLZ Bro's,

Well I was wondering if I bought the Unlocked version of the SLVR L7 that doesn't come with iTunes if there was anyway to install to get iTunes on it?

Hey everyone, i just purchused this phone through e-bay but i wanted to know if you could buy a 1GB transflash for the phone? of does it HAVE to be 512 like it says uptop. Also can you play movies on your phone if you have sufficent amount of memory?

i live in the US and my L7 is from europe,
no itunes. but the mp3 player feature works well. what is the significance of itunes? its a media player like any other.

Hello All,
I just purchased a Motorola Slvr L7 from ebay to my dismay I have discovered that this phone was apparently released in Europe and does not have Itunes Downloaded. Itunes was one of the driving factors in my purchase does anyone have any information how I can get rid of the Motorola MP3 player and download Itunes in its place?
