Rogido, 21 Mar 2011Anyone using this phone on Mobilicity in Canada, and could ... moreYeah, I'm using it with Mobilicity in Canada for about a week now and it's worked well for me so far. Everything people are saying about the small battery life is true, but I usually just use the phone after hours or when I'm commuting. Oh, are you looking for a review of Mobilicity or of the phone?

Ive had the motorola spice for about 3 weeks from mobilicity its very laggy even though it has a faster processer than iphone
3g its not as intuitive ither you get what you pay for i guess watching video is terrible the camera is horrible and the worst part of all is the battery which doesent last even half a day definetly a step down from my old phone the iphone 3g im thinking about the nexus or sony xperia if your thinking about getting this phone and you've had a good smart phone in the past simply don't waste the time or the money you will be disappointed on the other hand if you never had a smartphone prior it would be a step up (but a plan with mobilicity where it aloows you unlimited everything this phone dosent cut it)

Moto "used to" provide both a charger and a micro-USB cable, the latter good for both charging and data transfer.
iphone (given it costs 2~3 times more than most Moto Android phones) started to offer "single cable only" in the industry...just the data cable capable of charging.
As the European Community agreed on adapting the micro-USB standard, most other phones using the micro-USB plug would only come with one data cable which is also good for charging.
BTW, did you get your phone in US? I bought one phone from AT&T and yikes, it really came with the phone and charger only. Nothing else!
Where I live all Moto phones come with at least the headsets, if not data cable, memory card, and most shops would offer screen protectors, extra (non-original) battery and charging cradle....free of charge.

As I don't own one, may I ask as if you can slide open to answer / slide close to end calls? I drive quite often and is a bit hard to dial / answer calls on most Android touchscreen phones, thanks.

Gave it a trial run and found it to be great, but its not to my taste.
Couldn't find a case, and the phone feels like it'll slip out of my hands at any moment.
Having the needed install disk in the phone is nice, but w/o autoplay I didn't know about it for days.
Browsing wasn't a clean experience for me and the BACKTRACK feature is both awkward and interesting.
I'd suggest this phone for more business than pleasure.
Youtube on HD on the spice is = to LQ on the higher end phones. And the processor might limit you from some games due to lag etc.
That said, Gmail was superb so if you're all about business this thing will get you where you want to go.
If you want entertainment too, invest a bit more $$ for something you'll keep down the road.
