to record voice from MMS, it said to press the voice key. What is the voice key? i tried pressing and holding the green button when you dial a call but nothing is happening.

It seems to be a great phone.
I boutht software from Motorola at $29.95.
The USB cable is a standard used on most still and video cameras, got mine at a yard sale!

the voice recorder is a secret in motorola u can voice record in mms and choose voice rec. and if u send it. it will go to the outbox and press choose STORE

Why not wait more than one day before telling us how much you love the phone,
If you wait a while you may get to know the phone a bit more and can give a more accurate opinion about how good or bad it is.

Some people dont like the camera in this phone.
This phone is rather inexpensive
So with the money you save from buying this phone you could buy a DIGITAL CAMERA!
Then photo quality will not be a problem

I am currenly in UK and Orange has a good offer fo pay as you go for 49.99 Pounds. Very keen to buy this but bfore wanted to check if this will wok in India.

I've had this fone for about two weeks now and I'd personally recomend it to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!
THe camera is GREAT, true storage is limited but don't forget that you can upload them onto your pc! yay!
Some people think the screens too small but to be honest when your reading your messages, looking as pics etc u don't notice it, besides its bigger than the one I had before
It's a tough little fone, I work around horses- 24/7- and i've had dirt and little bits of gravel squeeze itself between the flip bit of the fone at the top when its closed so that when I open it up it all falls out!!!! So grose but it's only got one tiny little scratch on the silverwork!!!! How tough is that!?
Sound quality is awsome and I LOVE the fone.
Take it from me if your thinking about buying this fone but have you doubts about it well I have to say
"just go and buy it it's the best investment you'll ever make" I paid $199 and although it was all of my birthday money it was definatly worth it.

Cant really fault this phone.Ive had it nearly a year and it still only needs charging once a week! Good camera-although storage is limited. Can be used in europe & USA which was great. Simple to use! Can store a lot of texts. Good value!

this phone rules but i put my phone on leval 7 in the volume but when ever it rings i cant here it how do i make it louder?

Hi all,
I've just saved up enough to buy this fone. I've been looking around for ages and finally decided on this one. I've heard about the small screen- but no worried, still bigger than the one i've got now.
Overall I think this fone is a good buy but I'm still a little iffy about a few things...
I'm in Australia- Tasmania actually- and I can only find the fone- to buy- locked under Virgin.
Is Virgin any good? I've heard it's the same as optus but not 100% sure.
Can you just buy the fone anywhere straight out, up frount, not locked to any network?
Your opinions would mean alot, please help me out it's now 9 and I'm getting this fone today at about 3 so please think speedy thoughts people.

What can I do!!!
I bought a V220 and after activating my MMS's and Browser Setup(MTN Network). I was unable to make use of these futures and was told by a Motorola Consultant the phone had a software related problem(even though it was brand new)!! Second One(another V220) i took out on Vodacom Contract. Same problem Plus the phone froze and i was unable to use the keypad!!! Took the phone back to my service provider,was given a brand new phone(same model-V220)and atleast this time i can receive and send MMS's, but no internet browsing, no downloading of ringtones!!! To sum up: 3 brand new Motorola V220 all with the same problem!! And Motorola cannot give me an answer as to why?They cannot even tell me what the Error message means!!!!! What can i do? Im helpless!
