I was comparing Motorola v220 to Samsung e700, and noticed that the camera was the same(VGA, 640x480 pixels) I don’t really understand this, because everybody says that the camera on v220 is bad. I have the Samsung e700 and the camera is great. or was, before my dog attacked my phone :( And the color as well, theyr both 25000, or something like that....

ive bought my first ever phone a motorola v220 and need to software to downlaod it 2 my fone but i dont know how and how to make ringtones and recieve pictures do you know websites that i can connect the usb through my fone to the computer id be so grateful

I need an help from somone.
My phone V220 was fallen on the erth the battery went outside and when I tried to trun it on again the screen was blue and plain without fonts.
I need an help how to fix it. I toook again the battery off and reopen it but nothing.
I will appriciate the helping.

I do make my own mp3 ringtones ready to download to your phone care of MPT. Anyone interested should e-mail me. I can always get another song to make into a ringtone, but they take me about a week to mix. I will continue to answer driver and software questions about the v180, even though I have upgraded to the v220.

well i have had loads of phones and my verdict is this is one of the worst. i have had 5 camera phones, inc. samsung E800 slide (the best) and this was the worst. however wot d u expect 4 the price?? had it not even 1 day and it was flashing on+off, this phone is cheap, poor quality although it may look nice at first. its a toy phone.

ok lets put it in the limelight yes the camera quality is poor ignore what others say but for£79.99 its now a bloody bargain lets u download few videos to but early 2003/2004 tend to switch themselfs off beening u have to take the battery out and re insert it common fault downside no bluetooth/infared but thats reflected in the price

i think the camera works great but it is a little hard to figure out how to do other things on it like change the ring tones and such but overall i am really happy with it

I think that this phone is pretty nice for the price. The camera doesnt have the best quality but that is what you get for a lower end phone. I think that it is a great buy and if you were considering buying it go with it.

WOW WHAT A PHONE!!! I had a v600 and i stole my ex's v220 and cot damn what a phone! The small fuzzy screen and bad sound quality are everything you would expect from a high end model like this! Forget the v600! sure, the v6 has bluetooth, but who needs that anyways? as long as I have my demo version of bejeweled i'm happy. YaY Motorola!!! This is a desposable phone...literally.

OK - so I said this phone was cool in my previous message, but now I'm getting just a tad fed-up with it. Is anybody else having problems with entering their email address via the WAP service? My email address is all lower case lettering but the phone will NOT let me enter the first letter in lower-case. Aarrgghh!!!!!

I think this is a great phone, but it comes with NOTHING!!!! If you want extra ring tones, extra games, etc., you have to buy it! The ring tones it comes with are cheesy at best. My real old Nokia phone came with better ring tones! It doesn't come with any games but a demo version of bejewelled. If you use the "shop for..." links for anything on your phone, you are charged a connection fee per kilobyte of information transferred, not to mention anything you have to buy. I am disappointed in the value of this phone. If I knew better before I signed a contract, I would have tried a different phone.

I was wondering if you can record something from your phone and apply it as a ringtone..some of my friends have different phones and they like record a song off the radio and apply it as a ringtone..can you do that with this phone??

It's a cool, small, and cute phone. But I'm having a HUGE problem with it. This hot lad has sent me a picture but it won't let me download it, and I'm not allowed 2 send any pictures either. Can anyone out there help me?

I have a motorola v220 for 6 months and i too can only hear the caller speaking when i use the speakerphone. I returned it to my network agent and he said this is a common problem with this model.

I've got this problem and was wondering if anyone else had it also, I've had it for less than a month and it just messed up, I cant hear anything out of the phone unless I put it on speakerphone. I just got it replaced for the same problem and it's been less than a month. Anyone have the same problem?
