The phone has great signal & looks nice but you can't use the aim services on the phone or the internet because foor some reason it denies the request.

well i just wanted to say that the phone is great for free but the dam speaker phone part sucks as far as finding the correct drivers for this thats also a joke . the phone works well and it was free so or so they say nothing is free...so all my friends that helped get me reelected thanks your buddy g.b.

after 1 week of having this phone i am going to eat the price,take a hammer to the phone and send it back to motorola with my what they can do with there phone and with there company, DON'T BUY THIS PHONE !!!!!!!!!

Seems like simply a defective Unit.Exchange for another?
I have not have had any of the same issues with mine anyhow.
Menus are responsive.
I have had the phone for about a month now, and I'm taking it back today. After owning the phone for about a week, certain menus wouldn't respond. (You would push 'select' and it was like you pushed 'end'.) Yesterday, my phone stopped ringing all together. It would Vibrate on the correct settings, but would not ring. (I checked call forwarding and other possibilities.) Very frustrating...I expected better from Motorola.

i just got the v220 and v300 because the v600 was out of stock. Having both phones for 2 weeks so far, I find the v220 is designed better (newer I guess), smaller (lighter) and has a better speaker phone (more bass for music). The keypad also looks better with the blue lights around the menue key. Even though the V300 is more bulky and harder to read the outside disply (dark/blue), I prefer it because the screen is so much bigger and more clear. 5mb of memory too. Those are the only difference.

I was going to buy the V300 but they didn´t ahve it in store, now I chose this one, I have to decide it by tomorrow! a lot of people is telling so many horrible things about this phone... :(((((( don´t you think the screen is too small, or is that only my impression on the internet pictures?

Just got the phone. It will serve our needs with the nice features thrown in as a bonus. Call quality and sound has been good. Not using the camera at all.
Negative so far is that the speakerphone produces a buzzing sound that annoys everyone. Checking with Motorola on this.

Alas, I too want to be able to download PICs from my V220 directly to my PC using the mini-USB connection, but the manual makes no mention of the USB port or of directly downloading the PICs; sounds like a conspiracy to increase cellular usage to me!

I have found a solution and Have a Working driver, And i can Connect my Laptop and dial up as a modem, load ringtones, Pics ETC no Problem!
Been Happy with it Ever Since!
And even Posted how and where to find it in a Post not far below where to get it but i guess not many bother to read the Recent posts below?
yes this was a problem for me but figured it out already and it's Great!

It seems no one can find drivers/or software to download pics! I'm very disappointed with this product, especially for the money. I would like to return it or trade it in for something else. Good luck to anyone else out there having problems with this phone.
