Sorry about all the wrong info that some guys have about this phone. 1st You can use MP3 as ring tones. You must save the MP3 into the phone memory (it has limited space). You can download short MP3's from the WAP to use as ringtones.

Hi! I bought this phone yesterday. When I'm trying to connect to an other phone (or the other to mine) with bluetooth, it asks for the password. How can I get my bluetooth passwd? Is it 1234?
Other question: Does this phone support 512MB Transflash card?

Help- I have followed the step by step for moving the mp3 files to the phone- when I change to the trans storage it doesn't show my files- could it be because I bought them from napster? I am getting so frustrated. I don't want to use them as a ringtone I just want to listen to them on my player which is one of the reasons I switched to this phone from my sidekick. Thanks

I bought motorola v360 about a month ago and I can't say I'm totally happy with it (see I owned a nokia 7610). Actually, the memory card is almost useless, since I can't use the stored mp3's as ringtones, I can't upload skins (it's a whole story of how to do it and can't store them in memory card). It's mentioned that it also has a voice recorder or something. The only option I have is to record and send it as mms. I can't save any voice records or record for as long as I want (or for as long as the free space allows). The only thing I can say is that I'm too sad for giving my Nokia 7610 away.

Can someone advice any software that can convert video files to 3gp/Mpeg4? Pls advice as well the website in which it can be downloaded. Thanks.

                          To Goran,
Yes, it's true. You can only use those MP3 from PHONE memory as ringtones.

                              SARAH

Go to my stuff > my music

                              Choose options > memory card

                              All your Mp3s are there.

Yes Mac supports v360 as an external USB drive no drivers needed...

you can't move your mp3s because the phone itself has very little free memory, about 3 MB only enough for one small MP3 file. Check the free space and the size of the mp3 before moving

best phone ive ever had for the price, unfortunately it got stolen.
To set mp3s as ringtones the mp3 MUST be stored in the PHONE MEMORY NOT THE MEMORY CARD!

got the phone yesterday and its a very good one for its size and features (and price) that im looking for.

you can see pictures and hear mp3 files (you can use them as ringtones too. i've tried it and it works!!! the voicemail just kicks in so the whole song doesn't play) you can do that by downloading your mp3 files / pictures/video/ringtones to your memory card. then 'move' (download) them to the phone memory. thats when you can use them as wallpapers/screensavers/ringtones. you can also watch videos/ view pictures/ and hear the mp3 files from the memory card. i was able to discover that when i got stuck in navigating the menus and i tried using the 'open menus' button, thats the one located between the left and right soft keys.
a very nice phone for a great price.

                                        Question:

I've got mp3's in the phone...
How do I set it as ringtones?

                                        Thanks
