Activate ur video;
Click on Switch Storage Device to Card;
Change Video Quality to Good;
Change Video Length to Maximum;
If that does not increase the time then nothing else would except an upgrade to software to a more recent one... use 98D0R or later.

i went into the setting for video and put it 2 maxium but its still onli 3mins recording, any advice would be gr8

Problem solver....
I bought dis stuf 2 mths agoo.. but its not dat much user friendly..
Problem sol 1) many of u can't detect other blue tooth products... so go to that item menu just select move and select look for device...and this is the way every thing is resolved...
Prob sol 2) video can b recorder 4 de available allocated space by changing few settings...
just go into video menu settings..select viedo length(or other option like) in which MMS LENGTH would have been seelected as default just chage it to the MAXIMUM LEGth(or de 2nd optiobn other den mms legth .ok)

170 somthin phones later...here I am with a v3x. So far its been good to me and I love everything about the phone execpt the outter lcd display. Motorola still needs to work on that, but other then that everything is just perfect. For you guys who didn't know...You're supposed to use the phone first until the battery is low. Then you can charge it overnight if you want the battery to be at its best. The v3i is really lame and when you turn up the volume all the way you still can hear the other person that well in a crowded area. The v3x can go to 5 and still be loud. So you can imagine how loud 7 will be. out of all the new phones that are out right now as we speak the v3x ranks on top with the big boys. nokia n series have software problems when you try to load stuff on there. sony tends to slow down when you have too many things. (except the w900)motorola I have to say has microphone problems. siemens just plain out stinks....samsung is okie but ever since they made the thinner phones the battery dies fast and it gets water damage really easy if your in a hot or too cold area. which is really strange. It happened when I had the t809 from t-mobile. anyways, I think the v3x is a good phone to buy right now. if you want better well you just gotta put out 6 hundred for a w900.

Basically this thingy looks good n i wanna get it....But can u record video as much as de memry card permits? I wanna kno coz opinions posted here bt video recordin contradict lik hell! Many ppl say de cams good....Can some1 pls compare it to de se w800 cam (de best ive seen!) or de nokia n70 cam n temme wt it lacks/gains in? Dependin on ur response ill decide whether to get a v3x or not.....Awaitin a reply!! Thnx

mine lasted for around 40 hours the last time i check..with some usage of the hp in the progress of cuz...

250 hours standby time my butt!!! Not using the phone at all (and after a full charge) I'm lucky to have the V3x last 24 hours before it start whining for another charge! That's with all the energy-hungry stuff turned off - bluetooth off, brightness down to 0, etc. etc. Whoever thought this thing would give 250 hours of standby power was smokin' some potent stuff, that's for sure. Motorola needs to send everyone who bought this phone a higher-capacity battery that'll last longer than a day. Some of us actually USE our phones, y'know... MOST disappointed :(

It seems some say the bttery isfine in this phone, and other say its weak. Can we please comfirm what sort of time you get out of a charge on average and what sort of time you get from the battery when playing MP3s?

got this phone yesterday, its available in pink here, so i have that 1 =)
i love this phone, the camera is exceptional, the video is average, the buttons are awesome, the lighting is awesome, the menu is easy to read, sound is awesome
overall 9/10
i just hope i dont have problems like everyone else seems to get
the only downer... the front screen isnt all that bright, sometimes difficult to read, but worth the buy

im getting this fone for free from telstra(DUE TO INCONVENIENCES)and my dad says if i really want it im stuck with it for a while (24months)and its coming on monday. i was wonderin if i should really get it or not i read bout it and fifty percent say its good fifty say its bad . Wats the truth plz tell me?

K77: I have exactely the same problem with my V3x which i got on monday then the day after the screen kept going blank as i flipped it shut so i would miss calls etc as i didn't realise it was off! anyhow it seemed i was sent a refurbished phone from vodafone, so i demanded a brand new one to be sent out monday, so fingers crossed i won't get the same problem, its a lovely phone!

I upgraded to a V3x from an old RAZR V3 that spoke to my Apple Mac. The new software does not. As the old SIM card was nuked does anyone know how to get my cnatacts from ISYNC to the new Motorola phone tools for the V3x??? please.

Had the phone 3 weeks and now it will not read the memory card, back I go to fone zone.
