The v3x is good but still not the best UMTS cellphone my opinion : rather get the Sony Ericsson w900i with faster bluetooth and a higher resolution camra + better music and video player + longer lasting battery ; but its ur choice not mine . Ur rap star Royce da 59

I heard that someone on here said this V3X can support upto 1gb transflash memory is that true?? on this website it only says upto 512mb?? I don't wanna spend the money to buy 1gb memory and if it doesn't work than I'm just stuck wit it....thanx in advance.....

Hi there I was wondering could anyone help me please I have just gone and got a Motorola V3X phone "that is fantastic " but I can't keep my bluetooth switched on so friend can send me pic's etc does anyone know how to do that if so could you help me Please I be very greatful (( THANKS ))

This phone ROCKS. No bugs, and the calender totally PWNS the one in SE. Camera good. Only thing is that some (many) of the menu items is doubled somewhere in the menu.
But it is the best and most stylish 3g phone out there. GO GET IT!

FYI you can buy a extended life batt for the v3x direct from Motorola website it's a 1030mah £29.99 here in uk, but it doen't give figures on performance, link below.

I got to buy the v3x 2 weeks ago and it worrks perfectly so far. Every function works just as you see it in the features. The camera is great and transflash (microsd) memories are very cheap comparing to other type of external memories. It would be great if the battery could last a littlelonger, but it des not. Maybe they are going to sell a battery that lasts longer. Except the battery life, i have no complaints at all.
I advice for users to buy a custody for it since the externat display glass is very sensitive to scratches.

Absolute rubbish!
The V3x is the best 3G phone out there no matter what anyone says...FACT! For the life of me i must say...only ever had the contact bug problem when i first got the phone but since i upgraded the software a while back... nothing of the sort and everything works extremely well.
Find it really hard to figure out where u guys get all ur phone problems from... white screen, switching off, cant hear who you call, freezing and blah blah blah... am I just a special type brotha with a special type Razr X or are you guy's just lying or really bad at using phones... which one???
Whats really goin on?... overtakee wan overtake overtake... ayyy yaaa!!!!

Poeple said here that there are some negative posts as well as positive posts, please stop yoru fanatical posting.
The negative posts are horrible, the phone is not worth the time and trouble as well as the price for poeple aho have usd decent phones.
The positive posts come from Motorola users who have no idea and are in the dark about where the tecnology has gong with other developers, this people need to try Sony, Samsung or Nokia phones.
So yes there will be negative posts comapared to the features and reliability claimed by Motorola compared to whats out since the Razor!

I heard that motorola v3x got battery problems. 3 is selling alot and the users returned the phone to them to get a upgrade.They send them back to motorola to upgrade the software to solve the battery problem and 3 seem to sell motorola v3x cheaply to get rid of them. Is that true? The information is ture or not, anyone heard it or know it?

I'm afraid Motorola have succeeded in placing form over function, yet again. I was assured that this new model had ironed out all the problems with the original razor, the main ones being the ridiculous predictive text mechanism that appeared not have any grasp whatsover of the English langauge and the plinly not very good camera. However you could forgive it for that as it looked cool and didn't look like a brick in your pocket. Unfortutely the new Razor V3x has exactly the same texting problems as before. The new 2 meg pixel camera is undeniably an improvement and the video technology is fun to play with. However, and this is a really really big however, the phone appears not to be able to function, at all, in areas where there is little or no signal. In fact, mine turns itself off, in the middle of converstions sometimes. The screen freezes, the boot loader screen (looks like your PC booting up in the morning) comes and goes randomly. Yesterday I even spent half an hour trying in vain to turn the phone on - and yes, it was fully charged. I am dissapointed as I was led to believe that this was a really great phone(voted the best 3G phone on the market on this website too, worringly). It does feel like Motorola have tried to get a 3G phone out there as quick a possible to compete in the market place, whilst trading on the popularity of the original Razor with its innovative design. Still looks great, has to be said (the designers have got the look down pat). However, I'm afraid it doesn't actually work. Back to the drawing board chaps. I'm afraid I'm going back to a Nokia.

hv no problem with almost everything...
but only the very basic voice call hv problem...lol...
when i call or receive call, i can't hear the oposite ppl voice, unforgiveable ridiculous huge big mistake!!!
having the problem solve? by recharging the phone... duno will this problem come again...

i love this phone but i'm having the worst problem with being able to get mms messages / pictures to show up on it. I have cingular as my service provider and i just can't receive mms messages. I can send mms messages to friends but i can't receive theirs. also when i go to my medianet i can't get the pictures to show up like the weather pictures, etc.

I love this phone! Even my friends. I can't even feel that the phone is in my pocket, that's how thin it is. Ihave the pink razr and it is so stylish. Plus great reception, the only thing is it's very complecated to get to my ringtones. Other than that the phone is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many negative posts about this phone but at the same time there are so many good posts as well..I havent bought it yet but would someone here kindly make up my mind for me! :(

mmmm. interesting all this ...just got one and it won't register no's that have just been called neither will ity allow entries in the phone book to be recalled when wantint to make a call. ANyone got any ideas about these problems

To Betaphats: You should try installing audio_cfg application on your V3X phone. Then you'll get the loudest MP3 sound (earpiece sound get's louder also).
