hi...i just got the motorola v3x and its great but not perfect, i hate the fact that the buttons mark on the screen!!dats da onli aesthetics problem i have.. n is it possible to have a different picture on the outside display to the inside display, n how come my speaker is so low in volume... it doesnt seem to be very loud n its on max lvl. wats with that?? 2MP is great thats bout it...if u can help thnx heaps!!

Got the phone last week and it's on a 7-day warranty to the teleco here in the Philippines. I've been migrating my know-how since I'm a nokia user. To date, it's a great phone, sleek and full of the features I need. I've been wanting to get my hands on this phone since I saw in the Netherlands last Feb. I've had a lot of time to think and have compared this to other similarly prized models and it has stood out for its form and functionality. got the black one.

Select the object u want to send (highigted) and make sure there isnt a small pad lock sign in the bottom right corner, otherwise u cant send it. Press the middle top botton (the three or so horizontal lines) and scroll down to "copy". Select "yes" to "Temperory turn on bluetooth..." Then scroll down to "scan for devices" Your phone should find every1 around u whos got bluetooth on and, hopefully, the person ur looking for.

The buzzing sound you hear is coming from keypad when the backlight is activated im not sure why it gives out that sound but i dont think its anything to worry about

Y i buy v3x less den 1/2 year it is coming out wif buzzing sound ... although it is not obvious but i still can notice it when i was in a slient rm...issit common or uncommon?

ok all this is the best that motorola has put out the one i have is a rubber case and the ONLY problem i have has not happen yet, and true you have to play with the phone to find out what if can do.

this phone is GREAT!!! isnt the battery life is short??? if i have it i will carry my charger wer evr i go hehehe

Hey ive just found another lil bug with my V3x..about the bluetooh i did what people posted by going to the manage menu and pressing copy then i selected bluetooh. I found the device that i wanted to send it to so i selected it started scanning and a few seconds later it gave some error message can someone explain why that happend? and also about my audio player in my games and apps file is gone along with the 2 games!

to be honest the phone is kinida ugly if youve seen the z510 its design is way better mayb cos im a samsung guy but even tho the features of the v3x mayb be considerably better. wil u be using youre camera that often. its all about style

I have to agree that the phone is good feature-wise, and I like the big display.
The Motorola PC software has always been flaky. No surprises there.
However, I have to concur with the comment about the paint chipping. I've had mine for 5 months, always carried it in my pocket, just as with previous Moto and other phones, so no change in behaviour on my part. But the paint on this one is coming off in huge chunks. The matte finish seems to have been conceived of in art school, and wasn't really quality tested. If you put it beside the Samsung I carried for 3 years that way, then the V3x looks to be the older of the two by far.

At first I thought this was a fantastic little phone. But soon learned the many problems it has. When I'm composing sms, the "put keys" stay illuminated, to give an example, if I press the buttons to type "I love you darling", the phone will display "I love you edafardarkdarlidarlindarlingdarling" I have already returned to MOTOROLA for repair and now it's happening again after less than 2 days from having it returned. I will NEVER buy MOTOROLA again!

I have been using this phone for 2 monts and i am verry happy with it. After my n70 disaster, this device is a breath of fresh air. As pros, the camera is excelent. Especially the manual focus option. The v3x can take detail close-ups the NO OTHER PHONE OR CHEAP CAMERA can. You can poze your fingertips if you wanted to. It's a quite rezistant phone, and battery life is about 3 days. The problem is that the rubber surface peals off VERY easy, and the plexyglass on the displays gest "branded" by the keypad, leaving really unpleasent non-removable marks. Sound quallity in the headphones is excellent. I have han NO trouble with the phone's software whatsoever. If you do, you can replace it.

hey v3x users! can anyone tell me if it can take photos with clamshell mode?? so i can see my self on the external screen?? or can i use the vga cam besides 3g so i can take self portraits? tnx!

For those with a bluetooth problem, u cant just detect ppl with straight bluetooth, u have to select the thing u want to transfer. select wat u want 2 copy (its under one of the menus)and select "look for devices". Then it will detect any phone near by with bluetooth. I had a problem like this with my phone but ive figured out wat 2 do now :P Hope that helps all those out there complaining about the losuy bluetooth capability.

this phone sucks. its been the worst ive had. Its camera seems good at first, but then later on it blurred by itself. The repairer changed my flip and gave it back. In less than a month later, it blurred again. The external screen is really poor, with poor colours and poor quality. The screen has blackouts, and sometimes has a blank, white screen. It is very slow, and takes a very long time to load applications. Dont buy this phone. If your looking for a phone that has the same specs as this, i'd much prefer a nokia 6280. cheers.
