There have been some serious screw-ups with the software on the V3x. Just so's everyone is warned, Orange and Vodafone have completely customized the the OS with their own and it makes the phone a horse to operate with. Also, the Vodaphne version has used a different build to the other versions and it makes the plastic finish feel dispicablely cheap. The best tarrifs are without a doubt 3 (if you looking for Pay as you Go) and/or O2(for Pay Monthly). These companies do not tamper with the phone and keep all the original feature in. And when that happens, the V3x is at its best. I do not know what tarrif the people who scorned this phobne are on butif you want the V3x at the best, go 3/O2. The camera is superb, the MP3 is excellent with the sound quality,3G is immacculat, memory is great, video playback is nice as well and performance is acceptable as well. Lets not forget however, that this is Motorola's highest spec phone to date though. Expect the SCPL to push the mark a bit more than the V3x has. Oh and the design? Too thick to be a true RAZR, but enough on the looks to be say, second cousin.

i saw in a internet a full black(maybe bronze) v3x exterior n interior as well as red backlight.i wonder if it only a fake advertising, because i can't found any shop sell it here. the only colour available are blue pink n black/silver.

How can I install java games to my v3x. Can I use the Phone Tools software that comes in the CD installer but can't find a way to install. Anyone please help.

For the person who is asking why he can't detect other unit's bluetooth. I have this question b4 coz I want to transfer pictures on my v3x to a nokia phone. In nokia we usually choose send and choose via bluetooth. In v3x its different, choose manage, delete-move-copy menu appears, choose copy then choose bluetooth, that's it.

Hi. i got this phone a couples days ago, and i have the sme problem as Gary."I received my unlocked '3' black version The battery has been great so far and the only complaint I have is on both phones when you receive a voicemail the phone sends you a test message with symbols and no voicemail icon show up. then when you call your voicemail the phone again sends you a text message with similar symbols. Does anyone know how to stop this ?"

I finally got my V3x! it's such a great phone. I made the right choice in buying it. at first...I was thinking of getting a V3i..but I saw that the functions of the v3x is better. I have no regrets buying it!

Lol don't charge it every night, that won't extend the battery life. If anything it might even shorten it's endurance. But guys, this phone is the ownage, you have to buy this. Nice camera, plenty of storage space, all the top-end features and a heap of bonus goodies in the retail package.

I was told to get a better battery life to charge it every night for about the first 2 months and that should make it beter

I've done video-calling already and it works fine. THe video of the other person occupies the entire screen, while a small screen shot of yourself will appear on the lower left-hand corner.
More questions re: battery--
I use the phone for text messaging and voice calls. I charge the phone when I go to sleep, and take it off the charger when I wake up (around 6 am). The battery stays at 3 bars till the end of the day, so I don't charge it the next night. I use the phone as alarm clock. WHen I wake up to the alarm, I discover that the battery is now at one bar, and a few hours later, the battery is drained.
I don't know what the problem is, really. How can I at least make my battery life last for more than 24 hours!?!

It`s been written so much positive
about Motorola Razr V3X, so I decided to buy this cell phone, even if I won`t use this phone as 3G phone, I will only use as a regular GSM phone, because I like this phone very much. It has so many features. I hope I won`t regret.

since noones answered my quessie yet, heres a review :P
Well, I really like the v3x. Its COOL. awsm. The colors are bright. and crisp, as some people say. I didnt really have any problems with the battery (well, so far.) Except for the first time we bought it. Cause the saleslady told me to drain the battery first and charge it until its full. So thats what I did and to my surprise I have no probs with it!
SO far, my phone didnt run out of batt yet for the day. I charged it last night and it still has 4/6 bars. And mind you, I did use it ALOT for taking pictures and videos just a whileago.
Anyhoo, im charging it right now just incase. :P

And yes it does come in black. I have it in black with the inside sylver. Basically i got the best of both worlds hehe. Peace
