i just bought a v3x last two days ago...memory card is included when i bought it... the phone's nice but i've got one question... there's an option in the messages which says "lock" i thought that when i press it the message will literally lock and that means nobody can read it right?? but nothing's happening...what's the purpose of the lock then?? i'm too lazy to read the manual so can anybody pls answer my question?thanx a lot:-)

For those still unsure about v3x compatability with 1gb micro sd card....do it !
I can confirm that its OK as have just bought from eBay and installed in my phone.

To respond to me!'s opinion that "The battery on this thing is really disappointing" I will give you a techinical answer why your nokia phones last longer.
GPRS is an "always on" Mobile Internet service that is typically 2 to 3 times faster than traditional GSM data. Effectively being online continuously, there is no delay due to dialling up to your service provider and GPRS technology means that you are only charged by the amount of data you transfer, not how long you are online for.

I really like this phone, i'm buying one a month from now. I'm just a bit worried bout'the fingerprints that imprints on the screen. some say yah have 2 clean it everyday T_T. I'm a haeavy texter so, it concerns me. can anyone tell me more bout' the fingerprints thing. i'd really appreciate it.
and one more thing, bout' the external screen, does it light whenever you get messages or calls maybe? or it's just a screen w/ a dim lighting?
Hope some1 could answer me regarding bout' this.

Ive hade the phone for a couple of months and the battery works fine for me, its never died and i use a bluetooth headset to listen to it. my main concern is how the camera cover gets scratched when the phone is fliped up, has this happend with anyone else?

like Jay Z said... that was so laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! we don't believe u... u need more people cos the Motorola V3x is the best 3G phone for 2006 and as u can see all those that own it love it. Sorry mate but go jump on the band wagon and get urself a Nokia or some other rubberband phone.
To the moonwalker dude... ur funny mate... nice one. However, to use ur phone on the moon just take picture of the moon or download one and use it as ur wallpaper.. then use the phone... that should sort out ur prob. Otherwise u can bluetooth the moon to ur phone... holla at The man upstairs he should be able to sort u out.
For battery issues... turn of 3G and set ur network settings to 2G or 2.5G... 3G drains a mutha4...a on the battery...and so does every 3G phone so don't trip and moan like it's a v3x problem only. Or...get the high capacity BC70 battery BC60 is what comes with the phone... that last for at least 3 days for me i.e Monday morning to Wednesday night... or even Thursday morning( note this depends on how heavily u use it.
V3x lives on... can i get a yeah yeah!!!

STOP COMPLAINING THE BATTERY!I would like to mind to those who keep complaining why the battery drains so easily.
*don't keep listening to mp3.if you insists then go and buy a mp3 player!!
*don't keep taking pic or video!!if you insists then go and buy a camera and a video cam!!
The standby time 250h stated in this site is true.Mind you..standby time NOT playing time.
This is a phone!!i bought it last week till now but i don't think the battery goes down so easily.If you're just use it to make call only then it really can stand it at least 2 days.
OVERALL THE BATTERY HAS NO PROBLEM!!

the battery on this thing is really disappointing me. I don't like to charge everyday!
one more thing...does the phone heat up while charging? My phone does, and that worries me because my other phones (all Nokias) didn't heat up while charging before.

Heah Lynn .. if u wud like to have N70 or V3x , so the better deal is either go for sony eric K800 or buy urself K750i .. cuz the pic result is way better than nokia and motorola. Besides the battery time is always quite high in sony phones

U know i really like flip phones .. but can any body help me .. when ever i use a flip phone and its closed i cant see the numbers and cant dail .. can anybody suggest me a flip phone which has all the functions and numbers on the top .. ?

I really like this mobile, I purchased it 2 weeks ago and i was satisfied not until I noticed the batteries die really quick, all other applications are set out nicely. I trusted the information in this site, 250 Stand By time! Haa I Doubt That

dis fone is da greatest fone eva..... anyway to send stuff to uva ppl via bluetooth go to
*the item you want to send
*options
*manage
*copy
*bluetooth
*and it will find the device you want to send it to

i am getting mines in a couple of days but i hav beeen hearing about this battery problem it scares me don't kno if it willl work out cause i should be able to go through at least 2 days without charging ma phone if not i got to get sumtin different but this fone is great jus from reading the specifications and stufff camera is sick....crazy wow..........
