The V600 CANNOT capture video, only playback video uploaded from your PC on downloaded from the web,as for a recording program for the V600,I can't see it....the symbian platform is far more sophisticated the that of the v600...this ain't a smartphone.

i fink you can download a recording application for video. i'm not 100% sure. I've seen this application for symbian devices. i'm not sure if there is one for moto as well.

Just got it today to replace the bulkier Nokia 6600. Unlocked, bought from a reputable seller on eBay for $279. Cingulair unlocked. I could not get a signal for T-Mobile, it would randomly hang-up or say "call failure." Horrible phone. It would heat up with any use, not going to burn you or anything, but really heated up. Looks good, good camera, good design, the worst reception I have ever seen, worse than the T610. I have a T630 and a Nokia 6600 as well as an E715. The 6600, although a bit bulkier, is one of the best phones I have ever used. The V600 leaves a lot to be desired and not worth any hype. I returned it the same day I got it. Maybe I got a phone with a lot of "bugs" in it, but under no circumstances would I recommend this phone to anyone, especially when there are much better phones out there. the T630 is fantastic, reception and screen are 100 times better than the original T610 and of course, my favorite, the 6600. Bluetooth was not an issue, I connected all day long on my Mac with the T630 and the 6600. The V600 would not connect. It kept saying no bluetooth devices in the viscinity. I have also tried the Sony HBH-65, HBH-60 and the Belkin bluetooth headsets. Connection was fine with the T630 and the 6600, but non-existent with the V600. In summary, I would look elsewhere. perhaps I got a broken phone????? But nevertheless, I would be hard-pressed to recommend this one to anyone.

this is in reply to Astro.....if you worked in a mobile phone shop and sold the v600 then you would have know b4 you actually bought one if it was good or not, i assume you thought it was a good phone hense you bought one. You would also realise that you obviously have a duff faulty phone unlike all the v600 you sold which must have been fault free. So please dont post bad things about a phone which you obviously know is very good and you were just unlucky to get a faulty one.........

After owning this phone for less than 24hrs I have never felt more fustration over a dam mobile fone before!! This phone is the most annoying handset i have ever owned!! It hangs up on my calls, the bluetooth wouldn't sync, the screen likes to flicker, THERE IS NO FREAKEN SMS MEMORY so i have to constantly delete my sms msgs, man i have so much to bag abt this mobile its not funni, and if u guys are going to tell me i don't know how to use this fone don't bother.. i work in a mobile store for over a year now and after selling it to so many people i decided to get one myself and man BIG MISTAKE!! thank god I can return it... >.

Hey, to those who said the Moto v600's cam quality aint good, please check the thing out, you can actually set the exposure of the cam and the results can be quite good... However, if you're a Nokia or Sony Ericssion person, the Moto menus can be quite a hassle...so yea...but I'm already used to it... :P
