I 've just bought v635, but i used IT for 10 days. The sellers, however tell me the truth time by time, one day the phone arrived by spain and not from italy. Successively, he said me that it was bouth by importation without taxes. But the great problem was the life of battery, in stand by not more than 10 hrs...and when I asked to him to send it to Motorola, before he said it was the normal life of battery, then, with same problems sent ma telephone ... where for the riparation. In three weeks, I used my phone not more than 3 days. In the next week if phone is good, ok. However I sent to him a letter from my layer.

I bought this phone in the U.S. but I live in Jamaica and trust me it is the best phone in Jamaica right now. The camera is perfect and so is the phone.

omg i bought this fone my first impressions were gd! but it froze nearly every hour nd is so slow its unbelieveable i fort it myt jus b a fault but i got a new 1 sent thru nd tht had da same problems TRUST me do not buy did fone i bought da SE K750i insted wot a fone!!!!!!!!!!!! motorola is Sh*T

i just bought this phone recently and it is great and i was able to set the settings to my attwireless(now cingular)network so i get the internet access and MMS though its some what of a pain to do but its worth it

I have this phone and I bought the USB Cable and the Motorola Mobile PhoneTools V 3.0 but it didn't work, but i was able to solve that problem, wanna know how? Well I just downloaded the PhoneTools V 3.20 from Internet actually I used LimeWire to download it. You can have the p2p program from http://www.dowload.com/ for downloading the Motorola Mobile PhoneTools V 3.20. Now I can use this program for sharing my data. If you want the Motorola Mobile PhoneTools V 3.20 then add me to your messenger. Believe me it solved every single problem that I had with this phone and the USB.

phone is nice and it works great with cingulat and very good reception because it is quad band so for the people in usa and who wonder how the phone is i say it works great

I live in Jamaica and bought this fone in D US last week and Trust me this is the best fone i ever own. The cam is like WOW!! My only prob is i need software to shrink movie and vid files. Any body know any web sites?

This is one great fone.
You can copy mp3 files to your T-flash card and then copy to your fone to make mp3 ringtones. Best is to edit the mp3 file first with software to a smaller file and shorter ringtone.
I find you don't need to buy or use the card reader at all. I have my T-flash in my fone and whenever I want to copy files to the T-flash I make the setting on the fone to T-flash and then hook-up the moto-usbcable.
After all files are copied I then move them to my fone. Simple.
Editing video for it is pretty interesting. So far I have 3gp software that converts downloaded mpg videos to 3gp video and I copy that to my fone to play when I'm bored or want to show it off. How technology rapidly changes in a blink of an eye, eh. Email me if you have questions. I'm gonna post a How-to for some stuff mentioned above.

Oh, I just wanted to let all Rogers users in Canada know that they're selling the v635i on their website which features a 512 MB Trans-Flash card!! The only difference with this "version" of the v635 is the larger T-Flash card, for the same price as the original v635!

I bought my V635 on ebay and I just a few questions/probs with this phone:
1) When I connect my phone and USB cable to my PC, my comp comes up with some "New Software Install Wizard" thing which prompts me to install any software that came with my phone. The problem is I didn't GET any software, and my PC can't recognize my phone so it won't sync up. Is there some sort of software disk I was supposed to get with this phone?
2) Since I bought this phone on ebay it didn't come with a T-Flash card. Without a T-Flash card, can I get mp3 files from my comp to my phone?

"I just received the Motorola V635 but can someone help me because no one is helping. Someone with the V635 can someone tell me why it says "Connection unsuccessful, try again later" when I try to go on the Web with my phone. It's been saying it for awhile now and no one seems to be helping me so can some PLEASE tell me how to fix this? You can email me it if you want just someone please help me it would be appreciated."

I'm having the exact same problem. I've had my V635 for over a month now and I get that very same error message every single time I try to connect to the net. I even bought some ringtones/graphics online and when I got the MMS, I couldn't access the stupid link it gave me to download the files I paid for because of that browser error message. I live in Canada and my cell provider is Rogers so tomorrow I'll be calling tech support to see if they can tell me how to fix this problem. I'll post what info they tell me.

I was wondering how to get a mp3 from your memory card to be a ringtone and also how do you shrink files like episodes.Do you have to do something to make it work on your phone?
