to tom does this phone have stopwatch and can you play vids full screen.if you have used the vid recorder is it smooth ive read its only 7 frames per second recording,,i hope it plays back at at least 15 frames per second.have you managed to get it to record unlimited?its just what i want and its a great battery life.thank you .

It doesn't say that it has an USB port in the specifications.

Hello everyone!!! Just got my v635 Last week and it is an AMAZING fone!!! Love all the features! Only problem is video recording length :( mine is about 30seconds. I read other reviews and many people are having this problem except a few where they have unlimited recording until the memory is gone.I read some where that it is the software version?? my S/W version is R474_G_08.48.25R. Some say they have the 48.6CR software and that enables them to have unlimited video, is there a way for me to get this software for my v635?? i am in the uk and i dont know weather to try and download it and install or take it to a shop as i don't know how i am goin to get this done. Other than that the fone is amazing and is the best flip fone out! with its amazing 1.23 megapixel camera! The specs speak for themselves.

ONE VERY BIG DISADVANTAGE ON THIS PHONE
you can not assign an mp3 ring tone that is store on the memory card to the phone for ring tone. you have to transfer it to the phone and then assign it as ringtone and i think this is one BIG disadvantage. i had 6670 and i loved it. you could do everything with that phone, but motorola always come up with something to make their phones inferior, always. if i am wrong or theres a way around it, please, tell me or post it here, sasanishere@gmail.com thanks

hi
can anyone tell me how to transfer pics and stuff from my phone to my pc because my phone is not being detected in mobile phone tools and i am having to transfer mp3 files through my computer>removeable media etc.
also how to you change what memory device the mp3 files are being saved to as i have a memory card in and cant get the cover off to take it off and the only way i ca n access the songs is when i go onto the mp3 player

it doesent have built in radio but u can buy, as an accesory, headphones with radio, so it has everything :D

This phone has absolutely everything. Honestly! Someone email me and tell me a reasonable thing that other mobile phones that this has not got? Okay, maybe it doesn't have radio but that is replaced by the brilliant MP3 player. The only phone in the UK that can match this phone for features and price is the Sagem MyV-55 (i think its dat one anyway!)

When I got my V635 I understood it to have unlimited video recording, obviously dependant upon the side of the memory card. However I can only record up to about 1 min and 3 seconds on my 128mb card. Someone else has posted on this forum that they could only get 2 mins 30ish which is much better than what I was getting. So I emailed Moto help desk and according to them and their paperwork, or in their exact words "literature,databases & website information" the phone only does 20 - 30 seconds of video recording. As Motorola put it..."The video capture time is between 20 to 30 seconds on the phone. The transflah card's functionality is to enhance the storage capability of the V635 and the transflash card will not further the ability of the video capture time."
If this is the case why is it I can record just over a min and other users have posted they can record for longer than that? Do Motorola not know their own phone specs or is there is a fault in the software which makes it pot luck on how long you can record for?
Other than the video problem I have had no problems with this phone, I expected to have a few after reading this forum, but am happy to say I can view called numbers and the numbers of people who called me, I have a calender and calculater and all of the other problems reported on this forum are not affecting my phone at all, I find it easy to use and while the side keys have been a problem I simply bought a neck strap so those keys are no longer accidently triggered to take photos.
