Hey guys...
i love my motorola v635 except when its near time 2 charge it... this is because it wont charge! ive tried cleaning the dust out & nothing happens. some days i have 2 go without my phone coz it hasnt charged! this is really startin 2 annoy me.. any suggestions would b great! thanx

Very nice - have had it now for about 2 months. Original software (24R) was quite buggy, but the current firmware I have on it (6FR) is extremely stable, fast, and everything works.
EXCELLENT RF - better (but not by a lot) than my Nok 6610, which is one of the benchmarks for RF quality. Blows the RAZR out of the water in this area.
Good build quality - no complaints there.
Needed to SEEM edit a few things to get it the way I wanted it, but I'm extremely satisfied.
I wouldn't be surprised if Moto discontinued it because it makes the RAZR (aka V3) look like the b* stepchild that it is, when it comes to actual performance. Advantages include a better camera, EDGE (I get REAL performance very similar to a 2B ISDN connection), FAR better RF performance and a better formfactor, especially when you're actually USING (aka talking on) it. After all, if a phone doesn't work well as a PHONE - if you can't hold it comfortable and TALK ON IT, what good is it? How do you justify the V3 being more expensive when the V635 is just a better and more-full-featured unit? You don't - so you take the cheaper model out and shoot it so you don't kill your sales of the other one, especially when you just did a deal with a couple of big carriers to "push" the V3....
I'm ecstatically happy with the V635. Its not perfect, but as far as phones go, its one of the best I've ever laid hands or ears on, and for the price IMHO its unbeatable.

Hi i bought this phone not long ago, great phone, the only problem i have is caller id,outgoing calls, my caller id shows, incoming calls there is no caller id. all settings according to the manual are on, but still i dont know who is calling me? anyone know how to fix this? thanks

what i bought this phone in june and now its aug and the phone is discontinued omg but overall this phone is amazing just mad at the fact the phone is discontinued

I am having some issues with call quality... the voice on the other lines goes up and down in volume constantly... I also noticed that the number of bars for the signal strength jumps around even though I am standing still!

Hi,
This phone is quite good, the MP3 player though slow to load is good and the quality of the sound it makes through the speakers and headphones is excellent.
All the usual things on the phone are good, storage space, options, menu set up. Call sound is clear though other people complain reception is quiet from their end.
Pic quality and the screen is very crisp and clear.
Only real downsides to it are that it is a bit bulky and bluetooth is incredibly slow and misses about 80% of people who have bluetooth active. It will take about 2 mins to transfer a meg file across from a phone whereas on other phones it is about 20 seconds.
This is the same with the USB to phone data cable. Very slow transfer speeds
The ability to add a T-Disk is excellent as you can transfer files onto that and put that in the phone and saves a lot of time.

Hello everyone im getting this phone next week and so far I have almost 150 mb of family guy episodes and I was wondering is it possible that i can put them on the moto v635 and then watch them? Please respond.
P.S - Took a survey 8 out of 10 people say the battery life last long.

Please, please would anyone tell me if they have been having any problems with storing MMS files to the phone handset or memory? My V635 keeps freezing every time I try to store a MMS file received from other phones (file sizes are only about 25kbs or 60kbs) and I have over 5,000kbs free space!! Any help would be much appreciated! But otherwise, the phone is great.

Okay for unlimited video recording. I switched my storage device to the transflash memory card. then go to menu, multimedia, videos, then bring up the videos menu and go to video setup. when ur there switch the video lenght from MMS to Maximum and that should do it.it worked for me. hope this helps.

Purchased this phone in the USA 2 months ago. I was unable to download any songs to the MP3 player. After several conversations with Moto tech support - they said software should be refreshed and to send it to the National Service center - they sent it back unrepaired. Called Moto back and was told they could not fix because it was not a US phone (go figure - they make it). Under settings>phone status>other information when selecting MP3 ready it says "No". If anyone has this phone can tell me if theirs works and if it says the same thing. My computer recognizes and plays the songs on the transflash but the phone doesn't. Any help would really be appreciated.

angus i hear your cry for help but im deciding to so dont have the v635.according to specs it does sound like an excellant battery tho.ive read on one of the articles that it records at only 7 frames per second which is bad.whether it plays back at the reasonable 15 frames per sec i dont know

how long does the battery life actually last for on this phone??...like playing around for two minutes or so have a bar gon??.....can the phone go a couple days without charging?? someone pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee answer me lol

phone is garbage ....motorola is putting to much info and units on there chips which makes all there phones super glichy and have poor response ....im hoping sumone from motorla will see this and make a statment the there phones are goin down hill and constantly need repairs !!!!!!!!

i havent been able to solve my problem with unlimited video as i am having trouble finding the new v635 software which is the 48.6CR.So if there is any who can tell me where i can update the software on my fone that would be much abliged. Also i noticed when i was doing video recording to the phones memory it doesnt seem to be as clear as when i record it to the memory card, is this happening to anyone else?

This phone is cool my aunt has one but I am wondering ppl does the battery life on this Motorola actually stand up???...........Holla at me please cause i am wondering if to buy it I from trinidad....is this phone worth it??...does the camera and viseo quality beat the res in it's price range?? pleease let me know
