VE66 recently come to my country for about 290 Euro, unlocked with no contract.

I briefly tried a unit, being extremely well bulit, at least on par, if not even better than, Zn5.
Thinking about getting one for my wife...only I'm out of budget for phone in months to come...(budget is going to Canon IXUS 100IS), so if price drops further, or get better price with mobile operator, I might get one.
PS: Just transferred my EM330 to my sister-in-law

100 Moto, 24 Feb 2009Quite often Moto's mid-end models offer better finishing / ... moreMy V9 is overall a much better phone to use than my 8800 Arte...even though my Sapphire Arte cost me almost 5 times as much as the V9!
Only drawback with the V9 is the battery; which does not last that long!...but my nokia 6500C is even worse - continues conversations can never last for more than an hour!!!
Anyway, Nokia phones sucks - most of them overheat so badly during calls!

A very nice looking phone from the pictures. The choice of material seems high quality and the overall design and execution is more elegant than Nokia or Samsung with their cheap looking plastic!

I do know VE66 costs some US$100 more than EM35 in mainland China, where both phones are available.
I can't judge the music quality of VE66, I do know it "does not" have 3.5mm jack like EM35.
So the choice narrows down to how often you take photos with your phone. To me, 99% of the time I take photos with my Canon G9, so I care little less about the camera quality on phones, as none can match with my G9 anytime soon...
Indeed, I think I play music more often than taking photos with my Zn5.
So you can consider whether or not if you want to spend US$100 for a better camera on a phone...which can never match the quality of a real camera. (while losing some music quality with the lack of 3.5mm jack)
