The battery life is deceiving, way below par compare to average low end nokia phone. Mp3 quality is lousy and smsing is a chore. No addition of words into the dictionary mode for smsing also. Seriously if you are considering a cheap mp3 phone, or phone with LONG battery life, look for nokia 3109 and avoid this piece of garbage at all cost.

besr u can go to w 230 model..bcz of im using 230 model only..its really rocks better than w 270.... and compare to 270 best display resolution in w230......

can someone tell me is w23 or w270 better? it seem like both phone have the same funtion just that one is flip one is candybar. so is there any any different between both, someone did mention that w270 cant play mp3 as ring tone, is that true

I have purchased W230. I like w230 mobile. it is very chip price and good mobile.

I am the happy owner of a mandarine w230, for 8 days now and i don't know how other people have battery problems. My w230 lasted 7 full days on the first charge with 1.5 hours of calls, 30 min music threw speaker(not headphones), 30 messages and an hour of menu surfing. So it's awesome for a second phone!
The sound of mp3 is ok when listening with headphones(it coluld be louder), the radio is ok(i don't listen radio), the mp3 ringtones are loud and clear on max speaker volume, the display is way better than the ones from nokia(for ex 2626) and the in call volume is super ok.
I don't like the headphones, if you find a 3.5 jack adaptor and if you use other headphones i think music experience is better.
My w230 is locked on orange and has a 512mb card included.

Rs 4-3000.
Can some one answer these questions
The volume of the mp3 player and FM radio is it reasonable than nokia 2626?
also the mp3 polyphonic ringtones its how much channels 32 or 64 channel?
The display is it like old motorola or can it be compared with nokia 2626?

dont play game or listen music or u will be outof battery in hours.menu is very bad to surf.working perfectly though

1) does it support java for opera mini, mig33 & for games..?
2) does it support wav, aac, wma etc. music formets..?
3) can it play video..?
