Hi all...Can i use this phone to connect internet from my PC ...where can i get the drivers for this mobile ...does it really workout, has anyone tried using this mobile phone for internet connectivity purpose ???

the phone itself is ok ... a little disappointing screen but great sound & music. Radio is very welcome. Price vs features ... this is a bargain. I'm wondering why this forum has very little contributers. many questions are unanswered.

is the Motorola Crystal Talk on all the time or is it turned on thru the menu??? and I think that the battery is really 910 mAh or 920 mAh rather that 940 as claimed. anyone notice these things?

Just go to Contacts then chose the contact you want to add sound. then go to edit...there you will find the sound option. Click "change" then assign any mp3 or ringtone.

This phone rockz...I bought it for 2979/- from the mobile store. and its worth it..cumon you are getting all these features in this price..Hats off to it! really luv em..Sound quality is great..I shud mention the bundle headset is great..sounds gr8. Connectivity with the PC is just like kid's job...just plug n play like any pen-drive..It got minute minder like most Samsung mobiles do..thats makes a great option for them who are aware of their money..I shud say this is first ever time i have tried any motorola mobile handset as I used to use Nokia only (I own 3 other Nokia handsets). Lastly this one is perfect for them who only wants to enjoy music rather than mobile camera. Really good work MOTOROLA!

u an use net ONLY on phone not on a pc.(big let down for me)
and u cannot remove the network(airtel or vdafone) logo.
u cannot create playlists.
u cannot change sms tone.
there is a a thing which looks like a speaker(a la n73)on the rop. Lemme tell U ITS JUST A SHOWPIECE
i cant remove the roaming logo on top left.(i ) BUT
good music

hii... i lik the features of the phone but i want to know if the phone is java compatible... so that u can put games on it...and whats the capacity of memory card....and is this phone easy to use.... please help....

Hi Everyboady,
i bought this w230 last week only. so cute this one and comfortable to handle this.
One small suggestion.
if u want to play more songs with default 256MB means convert the mp3 songs to AMR format and load in ur memory card. i have more than 160 songs in 60MB itself.
but mp3 format only can be a ringtone and not AMR

The alarm set icon is not there but wen settin itself it will show it has been set..so that is not a demerit of this phone.
Also data transfer rate is not slow...

Hi i bght this phone yesterday...Nice one with music,Fm. We can also transfer files from system. The phone has 256MB RAM(it can be extended upto 2GB). For those whole loves music and want a mobile dis one really matters!!!

This is a great phone for those who want cheap,good batery and reliable phones.i will list the bads and the goods:
bads:
-no sign on the screen when you put the alarm on
-in message writing,it's a long time charachter fixing(example group ab,after presing a)
-no tuning of sound in mp3 player
-lowest level of sound is high in mp3 player
-usb 1 - slow rate of data transfering
goods
-very good battery time(a week and a half with only phone using)
-very good sound of music in earphones and speaker
-stable software

Whether motorola has any plans to release new variant of this model (With better music quality similar to sony ericsson in speaker mode ,increased memory,more aduio & video formats,bluetooth., etc.
