dont u c the difference between saying "You're always engaged in discussion and negotiation. We and Ericsson are always discussing ways of making Sony Ericsson as successful as it possibly can be" and "Bankruptcy", there is fundamental difference between "ambition" and "we r toast".

                            so?
They are talking about a difficult year, with Nokia and Samsung gaining ground on innovation thats all, not even close to Bankrupt like Motorola, it just means they have to up the stake and make new innovations, either together or as seperate companies, Ericsson alone still has a market value of 76 billion dollars, which is far more then the 0.9 billion dollars Motorola offered Ericsson to buy Motorola off.
Ericsson is still without Sony the number one net developer and mobile infrastructure builder all over the world.
You can't even buy Motorola phones anymore in Europe, and isn't kinda odd that thej haven't done a Motorola review in the last 30 releases?
                            Well, my myself, i use a Nokia N95 8gb.
What's even your point, i don't get it?

Sony CEO thinking over Ericsson joint venture: report
                              Wed Aug 27, 2008 6:35pm EDT

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Sony's (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) joint venture with cell phone maker Ericsson (ERICb.ST: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) must do better, Sony's chief executive was quoted as saying by a German newspaper on Wednesday.

Asked whether Sony is planning to end its Sony Ericsson joint venture, Howard Stringer told Die Welt: "It's certainly been a difficult year but buying out a partner is never an easy thing."

Sony lowered its group net profit forecast for the year to March by 17 percent, citing a slump at Sony Ericsson and weakening prospects for its electronics division amid tough price competition.

"We have to work together again as we did two years ago. Or the joint venture will have to find its own solution," Stringer said.

He added that it was hard for a company to be as nimble as possible when it works in a joint venture.

"You're always engaged in discussion and negotiation. We and Ericsson are always discussing ways of making Sony Ericsson as successful as it possibly can be," he said.

This phones sports EDGE Class 12, a 262k colours TFT display, a 2mp camera with fixed-focus, an FM radio, and the new Linux OS.

Design wise, I think this phone is good to go! I'd say Big Ups to Motorola for keeping our spirits alive. And do you know the best part? There are more to come!!!

To all you Moto Haters, the best is yet to come. And by the time the Linux OS supports the 3G connectivity, Symbian OS would be in trouble. The new Linux OS on Motorola is simply the best user-friendly folder OS you can get anywhere in the world, make my word -- and it's getting better! Checked the new MOTOZINE ZN5? How would you describe an 'image-savvy' phone beating hands down an iPod (we're talking music now, as in sound quality wise)? Think about it. The answer is in the OS, the Linux OS. And this phone's got it!

Now I'd tell you, this phone comes with the Linux OS, and it's the first I'd see on a 176 x 220 resolution. In English, this phone gives you a spice of the ZN5's camera capabilities and the E8's music funtionality on a 1.9" 176 x 220 resolution screen. And you call that crap?! Guy, you've just got to think again. What more would you want in a mid-range phone? If you need more info on the Linux OS, check out this website http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-lj-platform-en.shtml

If you're the internet kinda of fellow like I am, then, you buying this phone means you've gotten yourself a web browser. Ever felt the experience of browsing with the MOTO U9? Yeah, it's quite similar on the MOTO ZN200.

To all you Motorola Fans, I join my faith with yours: 'We're getting back to the top!' I'm proud to have the 'M' logo on my phone; I'm proud to own a Motorola Phone; I'm proud to be a Motorola fan.

                                Jesus is Lord!!!

well, dont alot of people feel like jack asses right now.. specially the sad character that wrote
"Facing off, Motorola is rank 3 and Sony Ericsson is rank 5. Motorola has profit and Sonny Ericsson has falling down profit since Q1, 2008 until now" and a few more"
It's funny how people just make upp stuff after watching cartoons on TV.
