I have owned many Nokia phones with S60 as an OS. I just got a Z6 a few weeks ago to try out a Linux phone. What an amazing handset!!
The Z6 is by far the fastest phone I have ever used. It loads apps & menus twice as fast as S60 handsets. It also has the best build on a phone I have used in the last few years.
Now I wait for this mobile.. the Zn5. It has great looks despite what others may say. Do people not realize good looks are subjective??
It has everything I want/need. I am so glad that Wi-Fi was added instead of 3G. I am more concerned about FREE data, as opposed to FAST data:)
It is hilarious that someone can actually HATE another mobile phone manufacturer. Do people not like to have freedom of choice?
I buy what I like....regardless of brand. Brand loyalty is a ridiculous notion. What kind of incentive does one achieve from only buying/using ONE brand??
Is SE or Nokia, or LG or Samsung gonna give you free phones for solely buying their brands..LOL
Wake up people....learn what it means to be a savvy consumer.
Nokia may have 41% of the mobile phone market share, but I predict that their poor build quality & sub-par customer service is gonna catch up with them. I am sick & tired of seeing $1000.00 N series phones made out of cheap plastic that looks like it was assembled in some sweatshop.
Motorola is the ONLY company that knows how to properly construct a mobile phone. I will take glass & metal any day over cheap glossy plastic.
Rock on Motorola...you now got some major haters....you must be on the right track.

does anyone have an idea how much would this phone would cost? i hope its not like those 5megapizel nseries that cost too much... :D hehe love motorola ever since... i actually got had 3moto phones already... first was V3 but i broke it, my bad. second was the midnight blue slvrL7i, i lost it... now im stuck with the W230 which is sooo satisfying despite the affrodable cost (around 45$) wohoooo! but im looking forward to buy E8 or this phone in the next few months... just love motorola... MOTOFOREVER!

@nmEX: Numbers speak for themselves. Five years ago there were numerous people bowing to the grandeur of Siemens mobile phones. Time proved that their choices were so utterly in the wrong direction that they led not only Siemens to oblivion but also their heir...poor Korean Benq-Siemens.
I have owned many Moto phones in my life and I have praised them for many of their "praisable" features. Now they are producing NOTHING worthwile and they are going downhill day after day. If they manage to survive financially because of sales to China or India, I don't give them any techological merit!
I an not a real big fan of Nokia, especially when it comes to their choice of materials (where Samsung is an undeniable leader), but I praise them for their marketing choices and they certainly deserve to be very PROUD of their forty percent share worldwide. On the other hand, in my opinion, Moto should be ashamed of introducing an extremely mediocre digital camera (the name Kodak says it all) "attached" to an even more mediocre digital cellular phone for the year 2008 standards.
By the way; nmEX, I have to admit that the usage of the word "disgusting" was indeed rather inappropriate!

I thank the person below. Its funny how people can bash a phone or a compay on an online site that has no basis. If you "love" your brand then you must repect others. Just think what would happen if there were only two mobile phone makers in the world.... Youd get an overpriced nothing. No compition = no advances in thechnology nothing. Hats off to Motorola with this phone. It has the best camera I've ever seen on the market. I can say that because I've seen it, used it, and uploaded pics from it. It has replaced my Sony digital camera. I did not buy it for its looks, its not the best looking phone, but I bought it for its technology. I dont want 3G, nor a smartphone. This phone is perfectly priced for me and gives me the features that I want. 5mp camera with autofocus, xeon flash, simple UI, and Wifi.
For me this phone has it all, if it not for you then dont write anything about it. Saying stupid once sentance remarks makes you look just as stupid as your comment.
And rememnber people, this is and always will be a place where people ask questions and give comments on the phone that are interested about. So ultimatly your stupid one liners are not valueable to people considering the phone. More pros and cons vs. the death of a compay.

Some of your questions made sense, unfortunately not everyone will agree with you, similar to a normal car owner questioning about car designs & engine features that are not good enough for him without knowing the actual product manufacturing design requirements, tooling cost, marketing debates, market demand and so on. So it's better to leave that to their in-house operations & development. If they fail, let them fail and you can talk about it the whole life time after they shut down. If they survive & comes up top, that's their capability. Based on the current situation (not 1 year ago) and other reports, Motorola seems to be moving towards the right direction, unfortunately there's another major brand that has suffered.
For phone features selection, let the people select what they want, some wanted 3G, some not (like me), some wanted Wifi,(get a PDA phone) some not, some wanted Symbian, some Linux, some no preference - it's all individual and let's respect that. I bought an E8 knowing that I can buy an SE W910i with about the same price and to some SE has slightly more features but not for me. That's my choice and for me the E8 is a better phone - so please respect people's choice. So my question is, what are you trying to achieve with all these questions? Please help the other readers to understand. Thank you.

Do you realize that they are introducing the ZN5 as an top of the line, non-smartphone model? Do you think that Nokia or SE would EVER dream of intoducing an NON-3G phone at this price range? Does it occur to you that, due to their comlpete lack of competence, they are trying to save themselves from bankruptcy by introducing a model designed IN China, FOR China, because China has not introduced 3G yet? Have you noticed that it took them two years to introduce the ROKR E8 which NO carrier really promoted and hardly anyone bought it due to its weirdness and lack of modern characteristics (camera, lack of 3G, and lack of memory slot being some of them). Can you see Nokia engineers and designers laughing their hearts out at what the narrow-minded are introducing at almost the beginning if the year 2009? Do you know what Nokia offers at the price of the ZN5?

The number of reviews posted were astonishing too. I guessed your comments contributed to my E8's purchase recently. (lots of them, before I realised that they were actually from the same person)

BUT
the choice of words used are important because it reflects an individual's character. Personally, I don't think any mobile phones for that matter are "disgusting". Be it Nokia, Sony Ericcson, LG, Samsung, Motorola, etc... even the lowest entry level phone. Based on your opinion, you have then concluded that all brands stated above are disgusting and all the manufacturers like Sony Ericsson, Nokia, LG, Samsung, Motorola "will DEFINITELY go BANKRUPT!!!" because all of them have handphone range that do not have "HSDPA phones with ultra-fast internet speeds and video-calling!".
So if you want to post this kind of comment, you should do it in every other brands' comment site, this is to be fair and you are entitle to your opinion & comment. Since you are doing it in only ZN5's comment site, then I would wonder what's your motive of doing so.
Be professional, do it the right way in the right manner, I'm sure others will respect your opinion and welcome you in this site for more. Hope you'll understand.
