Dear sir may be you can help I purchased an e228 in the UK on 3 and came out to hailand and want to use it with a D-tac sim but I canot un lock the phone I was told it can use any sim in the UK now I can't keep in touch with my son in the UK as where I'm staying has no phones .
Can you please help!

da_english_killa to hear music u need a memory stck wich iz about £50 i i know they dont come cheap ofr u can get a usb cable and the software cd but the cd is to much if any one got a downloud site plzzz tell me or call me on 07863391180

This is a good phone for £30. BUT, it dosent come wit the usb cable and when you top up, it will take your credit away after 30 days. the tariff is quite shit.

this fone is pants...what a load of s^&*...yet another money making scheme from 3g...i dont blame NEC,i blame 3g not only are you restricted to only their java warez..but if you look in the menu for access mp3 {downloaded by you,stored on memory card by you...there is an option in the menu to make all mp3z stored on memory, be used 4 ringtones..but 3G have barred this option with a firmware update...why the FCUK did they do that,well i can tell you why...££££££££££ dollar dollar bills...it cost money to put there stupid run of the mill...MIDI files...why not let this option be up to the user... its in the FCUKIN menu....WA*NK*E*R5

Ok the joke is over, iv spent 3 days now searching for a driver for the e228, i cant afford to buy the cd, any help would be a blessing...

I Just got me one of them e228 cellular fones and i think it's great I previously had an e313 wich I think is complete shiiiiiit'te. I used to own NOKIAS(used to be nokia crazy) but now im hooked on the NEC's

i have the data cable but the company sent me the e313 and 616 data not the e228 data software does anyone know where they sell it cheap apart from ebay
