to the person who said cant lock the phone if you mean locking the keypad you can, jus press menu then star key like you would on nokia.

this phone is great for the price. yes the battery life isnt great but were's the problem in having to charge your phone every night, not that much of problem, and me having switched from my ever faithful nokia, which i only had to charge once a week, but the features on this phone are exellent, far better than nokia. i havent had any problems with 3 network really, but when i have had to call customer services it can be frustrating with the language barrier!! but thats nothing to do with the phone itself.

this phones is blast is nice and it has all the great features maybe it needs some more video recording time say 120 seconds

I'm wondering where I can get the driver software for my NEC e228. I already have the USB cable. The problem is that I live in Italy and have an APO address because my husband is in the military. The only places I find the driver software are on British web sites (including ebay.co.uk) who only ship within the UK. I don't speak Italian, otherwise I'd order from Italian ebay. Could someone PLEASE help me out???

This phone is an utter joke, 1st the battery runs out everyday, 2nd three's advisers are useless, 3rd signal, 4th you have to use ur credit within 30 days

Don't angry! I think e228 is better than the 3G model of NEC before! If someone can provide the USb cable's picture . I don't want to get the mobile only.

what can i say what a great phone. it doesn't come with leads or cd but i used a friends nec616 data lead and downloaded the drivers from www.sydweb.co.uk/TEMP/Nec%20e228.ZIP
and away i went saving aprox £27 on a cd.
i fiound this phone a little tricky to use as all 3g phones can be at first.
the phone is a little on the larger size but all these features take a lot of space. if you want a 3g phone i would recommmend this one or the e616. the camera takes good quality pictures and the video recording is a lot of fun to use...... i rate this 9/10 duee to its size c ya

Really like the phone, just don't like how you can't lock it, and looking for a cheap alternative to splashing out £30 for software just to move from MP3's across!
