This phone is CRAP! no bluetooth, call dropping and half the time I can't even Diall out without rebooting the thing.
I've had better phones 3 years ago. Also made the mistake of going from 02 to 3 network!.. what a foool!

Dear sir/ma,
Without mincing words Nec products is one of the best GSM phones in the market.
Nec e338 has been well fabricated and designed but I would have love to see Nec e338 with internal antenna.

Hello! I got the phone about 1month ago from Italy (I'm in Romania), decoded it cause it was locked & now I have problems: 3g not work in 2,5g (RO)m but most important it looses network sometimes... Is it ue to decoding? What versions of soft are good? are some bad? i could go back to those who decoded i, but I'm afraid they might jeark me around...

My Nec 338 has this usual problem of not givin out voice output whenever I receive a call.It started some like 3-4 months after purchase.Any solution to this prob.

I have had this hone for about 3 months and it is great! I bought a datacable and drivers and the softwere but when i go to send an image or anything from my pc to my phone it says "handset cannot be found, please check the connection"
if this has happened to any one or if you know how to solve this problem then please email me :D

I had this phone for about a day and sent it back because I hated it. It felt really tacky for a start - really cheap and plasticy. The screen was small and too many of the main buttons were only used for one function (e.g. video messaging). There is no outer screen. The camera is not very good and has a very low resolution. The phone is bulky and brick like (although not as heavy, admittedly) and the arial sticks out too much. Haven't they heard of internal antennae?!
All in all, a weak phone - I swapped mine almost immediatly for a Samsung D500 and have had no regrets!

I have it in Pakistan and the charger blew on me, I have tried to geta new one or repair it but all in vain. Is there any place where I could get the charger (In Pakistan).

I just bought this phone. I already use the e616v and bought this for my wife. I find it quite interesting and a lot lighter than my heavy 616. I just hope it will work well with all the networks in Nigeria which is one thing I have against the 616.
