hey Julius.
Your phone is unlock thats why it says 2.5g.
You must use a 3g simcard before you can use gprs.
I have a e616 unlocked and if you use 2.5g simcard, you can't use the gprs.
I used a orange simcard(2.5g) to download ringtones and pictures, change the simcard to 3g (three) and download the files via wap.
You can't use wap with 2.5g simcard on NEC.

I love the nec e338 3g phone and its one of the best 3g phone I have ever seen, The only problem I am having with the phone is that my network provider is 2.5g and I do not know the gprs setting for the phone, please if any God sent person will help me with the setting format.

Hi Edwin,
I do not know why, but when i got my e338 (phones4u) i got the usb cable, speakerphone and charger all in the box... i thought they all came in the same box ? :S

hey mel. this fone is no brick. tons smaller than any other flip 3G fones.. im all for this fone. its hella good!

nec 338 .. it`s the worst phone .. when i open the phone, my screen is white and i can`t see a thing. what is the problem?/please help me because i need help!!i am from Romania and i have the phone from Italy .. what shoud i do??what`s the problem??please help!!

This phone is better than the best.It has mp3
player,65k colour resolution,good looks,a flip top phone ,2 in built video cameras,available in various shining colours shining colours.JUST GRAB IT !

i bought this phone a couple of months ago and ever since i have had problems with it i regret buying it and i dont recomend it too no one.sumtimes when i open the fone it just has a white screen and i cant see a thing what a rubbish phone thanks alot nec!!nice1!

i have the phone there is no blue tooth no infared nd i ve serched several times i cant even get a game to play so i can while away my time but all of a sudden the phone has been stolen wat do i do

i have to reboot it atleast once every day, recharge it 23 out of the 24 hours. Sometimes when i open the shell, the screen is blank.
i regret buying this phone :(
