New Samsung Galaxy Note8 image leaks [Updated]

Himanshu, 04 August 2017

Update: According to a new rumor, the Galaxy Note8 will also be available in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The rumor comes in the form of a tweet from a relatively well-known Chinese tipster:

Up until now, only 6GB/64GB configuration was rumored. The tipster also notes that there won't be any 8GB RAM variant:

Of course, an Emperor Edition Note8 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is already rumored, so it's fair to assume that the tipster is talking about the standard Note8 model.

Original story follows:

The usually reliable tipster Evan Blass (who goes by the handle @evleaks on Twitter) has shared a new image of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone.

The image is similar to the one Samsung shared as part of press invites for the device's unveiling, except that it gives a better look at the design as well as confirms the Galaxy Note8 moniker. Following is the tweet from Evan:

Being a flagship from Samsung, the Note8 has already been the subject of several leaks and rumors. The handset is set to be made official on August 23. As latest as this week, we saw the complete spec sheet leaking, and Korean carriers revealing that the phone will be available in the country starting September 15.
