hey all...wait wait.. why you are comparing iphone with LG Cookie..these are seperate segments...iphone is sophisticated, and technology oriented phone for techincal users....and look at the price of iphone. In comparison to Cookie, its' a simple user friendly type of phone for all i.e. masses..for those who are using iphone, they can't or shouldn't compare iphone with this phone...how can you compare the toyota with BMW or Mercedes...Not at all....please don't compare...
YES..You can compare the success rate of Cookie Vs iphone, and Cookie is really going well...i don't know how / why probably marketing, price, or quality..?

I had the chance to use the i... morei cant beleive ppl are mentally down enough to compare such a phone as the lg cookie to a i phone without bluetooth or mms functions and video recording camera . eventhough the cookie got all of these i phone missing options and a full touch screen and a cool interface with gadgets customers still can buy two or three lg cookies just for the prize they are paying for a i phone . so i phone prize tag is a big shame compared to a cookie prize tag .

iPhone has more problems than any other phone. Battery, Screen.. etc.. LG has a few decent phones out, so Well done LG.. Lets see the Cookie come down under.

many days (I can still use it because my brother in law has one). About the user interface: Wow what a great thing. I think many manufactures will try to achieve this. But that´s all. LG´s devices are really getting better. However I prefer to take a look at se and nokia and their flagships first before considering a new buy. With all respect to apple-fans, to me it was a Joke when Apple presented their last iPhone. They were really the best introducing a device even knowing it belongs to 2006.

LOL, the only reason I come to this website is to read all you angry children fighting over what phone is best, what country is best, etc... You want to know what is best? Anything you people are not a part of, seriously, you make everything look bad.
All of you people on this forum should form your own country, call it GSMArena land, and then you could build the best cell phone in the world, and talk about how great you guys all are, how much money you make, etc...

So what's keeping you from buying the iPhone? Is it the ridiculous non motivated high pricing? Of course iPhone has a better profit marginal than the Cookie, look at the price.
Apple is a weird religous society dude, it's not a healthy fan base, it's a bunch of brainwashed souls after years of Apples closed software and Steves brilliantly high priced non motivated pricing.
Nothin you say about the iPhone will change my mind because of first hand experience. It's the biggest piece of **** on the market and Itunes is the most irrittaing software on this planet. Apple couldn'r have made a more annoying software then iTunes even if they tried.
And the appstore is full of barely working wannabe smartphone apps with fancy names made by 9 olds, for 9 year olds.

The iphone as an amazing success what are you talking about. You stated in your post 7million units in months! thats fantastic, total contradiction. The lg cookie is the best selling phone in carphone warehouse history so it's not just some sideproject.
Your another one of these iphone haters. I'm not an iphone user but i respect them for what they are.
An LG fridge would be more useful as a phone than this piece of bull. Whereas the iphone is a whole new fluent, stylish and easy user experiance. Fantastic phone, never put these two phones together.

Does this mean that this unsignificant LG model called Cookie is almost popular as the iPhone? iPhone 7 million units in 12 months when it released. And the Cookie has already reached 5 million units in 8 months.
Well i was not really aware of Cookie phone before i read this article, cause it's not a LG flagship device, so it's fun how Apple fanboys bang the big drums wannabe "bestseller" when a small sidestep projects like the Cookie from LG does just as well.
I am a Nokia E71 user, but kudos to LG. Apple have sold like 20 million units so far in total, and N-series have 320 million units out, E-series have 90 million units out.
In what universe and on what plnaet in iPhone a bestseller? I would like to know?
