As long as this phone has that "Trouble" *pop* screen, it will never do good. The seconf they make it a normal resistive or capacitive un-pop-able touch screen, it'll take off.

IMO, iPhone's (or some phones?) touchscreen is the best. Why? Because it realy TOUCH, not PRESS. Other TS phone should be called PressScreen because you need to press it, while on iPhone you only need a little touch on the screen.
And also, I always count in the OS performance when choosing a phone. So far, a good OS only I can find in iPhone and Android(HTC Custom). I don't really like the BB OS for some reason: lack of style and smoothness perhaps, and also Symbian(Nokia and some phones): doesn't smooth enough(TS). Well that's just my opinion though.

I agree with you Danny! Blackberry is far behind man I don't know they even care. Android OS is the killer of all smart phone OS. RIM Really need to step up man, before they get crushed by iPhone OS, Android OS or the Palm webOS...

I have been using Blackberry for ages now. When i got my first blackberry the OS at the time so advanced because no on else had a better os for a smartphone. But now iPhone is better and reliable and Google Android OS is a killer, Man I really don't want to got for another brand than Blackberry man RIM need to work on the touch screen base handheld OS to match up with Apple and Google and Palm webOS is amazing too man. I don't know why RIM is not making any effort to improve their OS!!! Hope they do!!!

With phones like the LG BL40 and Crystal, HTC Touch Pro2, Diamond2, Hero and Samsung Omnia2 and Pro, and Iphone 3Gs..I thing Blackberry is quite behind the standard of phones. If they hope to have a real winner other than pure business (bold and curve) i think they need to come up with something completely unheard of up to this point.

Missing
1) No enough Memory built in. 2GB? Come on RIM you are like 3 years behind.
2) Need a longer screen, screen is wide enough but not long enough though.
3) Need a real touch screen not the suretouch.
4) Need Multi touch.
5) BlackBerry OS is far behind compare to iPhone OS and Android OS. Need to catch up. RIM should.
6) Need to improve the Blackberry Browser and Add Adobe Flash support!...

why you need slide keyboard for storm.? storm has "surepress" technology
also why you need dual sim.? how many Major brand cell phone companies are carrying dual sim cell phone model.???
Storm can record video & Camera . also storm is mainly Email device not Camera Phone.! (if you want good camera , go for samsung Pixon 12 which has 12MP camera)
moreover, why you need stylus on this phone..? LOL this phone is designed for Finger friendly.! which most of functions are working fine with fingers not STYLUS.! this is not Windows mobile device or Symbian.!!
Please Remember Blackberry phones are targetting differnet segment as other cellphone.! so your comments are not make sense.

Samsung Omnia HD is better than storm. Bigger screen, better camera, HD vedio recording, symbian OS...all in one phone...

will it's depend what you looking for in the device
generally i excluded N97 & Omina HD they are not up to the standard.
if you looking for business mobile and you can use it as media then go for Blackberry.
if you looking for Media mobile for SE Satio and i'm sure you won't regret.
iPhone 3GS is the last thing you should consider, i had iPhone 3G the phone can be used only as secondary mobile or for teenagers.
but it's your Money Man... do what u like
