I had no idea lenovo was 3rd... What are some good phones by them? I want to see HTC grow, their quality of the HTC One phones is great and it would be nice to see that company grab a bigger share of the 2015 market. Cant wait for the next flag ship by them.

Samsung phones are the highest specification no if no buts as nobody has a phone that competes to the Note 4
Apple may be second with the iPhones but this is with sorcs that are 3 years behind even mid range phones.
How can one of the world's richest companies not produce a phone comparable to the fledgling company Xiaomi old now old stock.

LG despite loosing 5th rank has gained market share in 2 years while Samsung has loosened it big way. This proves that its not about korean vs chinese or premium vs cheap. Instead, only conclusion I can derive is that brand value of Samsung is diminishing and people owning Samsung devices are maybe switching to other brands while making next purchase. Afterall, unlike Apple, android manufacturers don't enjoy brand loyalty.

still samsung is the number one in android smartphone followed by lge!
samsung was actually increasing their numbers of smartphones sold! it's just the percentage that declining since their are a lot of new phone makers. but still samsung is leading and lg is second!

If Lenovo want bigger market share then the should make Motorola Smartphones available at every market with same near stoke Android OS,also with quick updates.I think they should launch Moto Maxx world instead of USA & Brazil.

Samsung is the SHIPMENT leader where APPLE is the actual SALE leader. What's the point of producing tons of devices which will end up staying in the warehouses... Stupidity….. But hey…. Although Samsung SALES went drastically down they at least got tons of phones in stock (SHIPMENTS)! Unfortunately, not too many clients who wants them anyway!

You have to be kiddin, right? Every android oem should be scared they position and sales because competion inside android is so huge. Apple is in safe which sales also proves and know why? Because of the iOS its somwthing what cheap chinese people cant offer cheaper
By the way samsung have totally lost their high end markets to Apple and low end device markets to those cheap chinese companies. So no samsung isnt safe they are going down every q and its going to be very difficult to change the direction.
