I'd go for something that only did SMS over only did calls.
But hey, whatever - it is a really neat idea.

Well, Japan is showing the world what a real "Phone" is except about the SMS thing. I bet it has a better battery life and would be simply useful for emergency use or in case your smart "phone" ran out of juice and you need to make calls.
