have been through windows phone 7 letdown, if Microsoft do it again over Windows 10 not coming to some 8.0/8.1 phones there are other choices and they deserve to loose customers.

It would ne suicide for Microsoft to update only the 1gb of ram models. As I said lumia520/630 are the dominant devices in the windows phone market. Their owners didn't buy them because of windows they buyed them because they are Nokia branded.
So far Microsoft phones are shitty jokes for 3rd world country market. Beside that they removed the Nokia brand.
Windows10 doesn't come with anything amazing just common sense. It doesn't need 1gb of ram for that. I really think that quad core 1.2ghz snapdragon 400 and adreno305 are very decent specs for windows 10. Also decent specs for full HD recording from a 5mp cammera.

I hate Windows Phone 8 but maybe I will buy a 435. It will be extremely cheap, and it will be a good 3rd phone fore me. Cheaper than a tough phone, and I will not be afraid to use in harsh conditions, or kick it out from the 10th floor, if it will be too annoying. Than later I will be able to test the Win10 on it (if it survives that long).
And if Windows 10 for phones will be a good OS, maybe I will buy a flagship model in the next 3-4 years (after usable apps starts to appear for WP).
