Anonymous, 28 Aug 2009Multitouch is overrated. Viva la Clockwise Zooming Motion =]Some fun facts here:

Zooming a.l.a iphone is patented by the fruit company. So that nokia can't use the multi touch to do the zooming.

If zooming with multi touch and circle motion is considered a hand gesture language. That's mean now there were 2 language incompatible one to another. If there were pantomime of iphone user and nokia user talking, it would be really fun to see that these 2 can't communicate.

It's a sad things that apple choose to patent the pinching to zoom (along with other hand gesture they had). I think apple need to be nicer. Just like same look and fell among Linux / windows / Unix / Machintos... independent of what OS is.

Let's be honest. how often do we actually use Multi-touch on our phones. The most common functions is making calls, sms and chatting on IM's and the built-in organiser.

Selling 20 million iPhones does not put you on a throne, it puts you on the front door porch. Selling 400 million N-series devices does put you on the throne. Seriously, you Apple fans are a extremely remarkable disillusioned herd. It's almost makes wanna apply for a University funding to do researh on you people so we can once and for all find out what's going inside the iApple thinktank of yours.
