i cant imagine apple releasing such a phone until June when they've milked money out of people who swapped the first gen for an exact type with mms, video recording and copy and paste. What!! its a joke. Who would pay such an amount for these features.

SE makes promises they can't keep... Apple is stuck in a hamster wheel releasing the same phone over and over again "but hey, wait, now new with compass"... Samsung look like cheap China knock offs... LG don't deliver quality and specs... Nokia is the supreme emperor on the market... this is why... N900 is just a peak at something lurking around the corner at Nokia World... This is why non of the above companies has sold over 400 million N-series devices.. Nokia buttf**ks them all... Beautful and brutal killer this N900.. a allround monster...

This phone will not do too well. It will be competing with other capable phones with better specs, like the Satio. And the iphone 4g would just be right around the corner when this one gets released. This one would've been a good competitor for the iphone 3gs. Too late now Nokia. Good try though.

Nokia is just totally conquering the mobile market.
Great levels of functionality and superb hardware are felt from their products.
Keep up the good work Nokia. I love SE, but these days it seems like the other manufacturers are steadily loosing ground to u!!
HA HA HA!!!

and then another variant without the 3G/GPS
and then another variant without the wifi

Seriously,
I don't know if they would release the things I just said, but if you know nokia, they always release a multiple device with slightly different specs.

Cool looking device finally from Nokia, and it's Linux based. Fantastic! If they just get rid of that qwerty keyboard, I think it's useless when you have 3.5'' screen. It's just way too bulky. Otherwise it's superb!

I think this phone is the N97 killer! It seriously looks like a fantastic piece of kit from Nokia. I decided to renew my contract with T-Mobile and continue with a discount on my Flext contract as the phones available on upgrade didn't appeal to me. Plus the N97 still needs lots of firmware fixes so I thought by the time my phone is next due for an upgrade the N97 will become a great phone or the N900 will be available.
