SE should have patented their X series name. BTW looking at those new X series by Nokia let me wonder if they have hired new designers. X6 looks better than what Nokia was designing so far.

[deleted post]Hello..when did I say "Omnia is better than N900". Are you feeling that unsecured that you can't read properly and come up with something this? As far as Innov8 and N86 is concerned we all know the truth. N86 might have come with variable aperture and 28mm lens, but it failed to outperform Innov8's detail level. I have posted 100% crop many times comparing them side by side, but it seems some Nokia fans are too blind to accept it.
Anyways this is about N900 now. I have said it's a nice phone. I have talked about feature only, not it's performance which is yet to be tested. All I said was it doesn't bring anything new or innovative other than the OS. That's all. Did I say anything threatening?

And what are you talking about WVGA screen? If it's an innovation then how Nokia or N900 is related to that? You are talking as if this is the world's first WVGA screen phone. The first WVGA phone indeed was innovation, NOT N900. Of course 3.7" AMOLED screen is something talk about. It's the biggest and best mobile screen available as of now.

i hope there could be a low end device running maemo like 5800 for s60 5th, for sure this will be expensive for some.

al-kathiri, 01 Sep 2009look to other things, what is your commit about the price w... moreit might not have apps right now but there are apps for the previous internet tablets which im sure can be ported to this.
Linux is a plus unlike symbian because once it goes mainstream there will be a lot of people that will develop applications.
It does support XviD unfortunately not DivX.
Its a new OS however we will get used to it quicker than S60.
S60 was a bit complicated for the simple minded people that use iphone however some of us loved the S60.
This phone has been designed to be simple with the whole dashboard feature etc etc.

the new OP which called ' Meamo 5 ' its pretty different from the previous OP ' symbian ' ! so naturaly we will not able to familiar with the new OP !

the new OP ' Meamo 5 ' still NEW and Doen't support all features and its hard to get Applications for it as it doesn't run (.sis) or (.sisx) files or even (.jar)
                        Also it won't support N-gage
                        or Divx/Xvid
                        Its a linux !!

                        so , don't expect that N900 is perfect !

but the difference in Features between N97 & N900 only the size of RAM !

which is in N97 128 MB
                                    and in N900 256 MB

                                    surely N900 is better !

But N97 is better in the wight & maybe in design ..

                                    N900 is pretty heavy!

Over and above , the Price of N900 when it will be available .. !

Not as good as the Toshiba with the 1 GHz snapdragon.

                                      Definitely outclasses the N97.
