Finally a Nokia device which shows power and capabilities which the Nokia brand showed 5 years back. This is really way better than the Symbian touchscreens. I am gonna buy one as soon as it is out.

I've got nothing against T-Mobile, but why is this a 900/1700/2100 3G device in the US? If they really wanted to support NAM with this release it would have been a 1700/1900/2100 at the very least! Pretty disappointed.

I like Maemo UI it's so CooL. btw why no dpad on this Smartphone?? how to navigate onthis Smartphone?? by touchscreen?? Hope after Symbian Open Source Release , Nokia stop making S40 so Nokia use Symbian S60 for Low - Middle End Smartphone , Symbian Open Source & Maemo for Middle - High End Smartphone.

As a happy owner of a Nokia Internet Tablet (N800), I was always wondering "why oh why doesn't Nokia make a Maemo phone? (are they blind or what?)".
It seems that it's time is now. Maemo absolutely kills all other mobile OSs with ridiculous ease (yes, Android too!)
I am a Sony/Ericcson funboy (I have almost all of them) and I recently got an iPhone. But had I known this was coming, I would definately avoid the iphone and go straight for the N900 (which I probably will do anyway).
Cudos to Nokia for this. Hi-End Symbian should have died long ago.

Oky to begin.this phone looks nice 2 me. the new OS Maemo 5 screen shots are nice.i said screen shots becoz almost nobody knows how this new OS is going to work in reality.so lets keep the criticism about this is going to be better than 'this one' or 'that one' 4 later after we got a review!.
and about being a BIG phone? what do u guys want? a phone that almost runs and acts like a pc thats very SMALL??
