Where are those Black Bar defenders? They say that useless bar is so useful.

"The black bar ... will be gone ... to the relief of many. This will happen because HTC made the plastic speaker panels, which are used to cover the speakers and amplifier, taller in the Hima."

So the black bar is gone, because the other parts of the bezels are bigger? Not sure if that is a win.

Not sure why you would cover speaker grilles with glass either.

If this is true then I could be a success, but once again marketing strategy comes into place. Lg G3 was a success due to them listening to their users and those who refuse to buy the G2. One more requirement: besides smaller bezels, smaller footprint. should be less than this: 150mm x 75mm x 10mm. Then I shall return to HTC.

so its meant to look better, but will sound worse than early model, clever, they still have nkt learnt anything at htc, they get stupider every year, hanging on by skin of their teeth, so they bugger the one thing that actualy made htc stand out easily from others was/is the good audio from the boomsound speakers, so they muffle them, clever...

This sounds good and all, but what about the snapdragon 810 it will employ? It will literally burn a hole in your hands. If only they opt to use Samsung's new Exynos, but that won't be the case, I'm sure. I might have to pass on this.

It only gets better. I wasn't too concerned about black bar but since they do get rid of it it makes sense. That's an extra screen to look at. I am sure HTC can come up with other place to display it.

Sounds good! That black logo bar is just so useless on the M8.

                      Fantastic!

This, along with the new camera, are setting the bar for a GREAT phone!

No Ultrapixel camera, no blackbar, with microSD slot,

So the "haters gonna hate" will only hate the internal battery, which I REALLY approve.

If they can keep the front speakers while having a slimmer bezel (slimmer than the m8 at least) then it's gonna be a winner.
